አላህ ያስቀረላችሁ ለእናንተ የተሻለ ነው ፡ ፡ ምእመናን እንደሆናችሁ ( አላህ በሰጣችሁ ውደዱ ) ፡ ፡ እኔም ( መካሪ እንጅ ) በናንተ ላይ ተጠባባቂ አይደለሁም ፡ ፡ »

fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.
አባቶች ሆይ፥ ልባቸው እንዳይዝል ልጆቻችሁን አታበሳጩአቸው።

and kill not your children for fear of poverty . we provide for them and for you .
ልጆቻችሁንም ድኽነትን ለመፍራት አትግደሉ ፡ ፡ እኛ እንመግባቸዋለን ፡ ፡ እናንተንም ( እንመግባለን ) ፡ ፡ እነርሱን መግደል ታላቅ ኃጢኣት ነውና ፡ ፡

some of them will believe in it , some will not . your lord knows the transgressors well .
ከእነርሱም ውስጥ ( ወደፊት ) በርሱ የሚያምኑ አልሉ ፡ ፡ ከእነርሱም በእርሱ የማያምኑ አልሉ ፡ ፡ ጌታህም አጥፊዎቹን በጣም ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

though it is not your concern if he should not grow ( in fulness ) .
ባይጥራራ ( ባያምን ) ባንተ ላይ ምንም የሌለብህ ስትኾን ፡ ፡

and when your lord summoned the descendants of adam , and made them testify about themselves . “ am i not your lord ? ”
ጌታህም ከአደም ልጆች ከጀርቦቻቸው ዘሮቻቸውን ባወጣና « ጌታችሁ አይደለሁምን » ሲል በነፍሶቻቸው ላይ ባስመሰከራቸው ጊዜ ( የኾነውን አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡ « ጌታችን ነህ መሰከርን » አሉ ፡ ፡ « በትንሣኤ ቀን ከዚህ ( ኪዳን ) ዘንጊዎች ነበርን እንዳትሉ ፡ ፡ »

move not your tongue with it , [ o muhammad ] , to hasten with recitation of the qur 'an .
በእርሱ ( በቁርኣን ንባብ ) ልትቸኩል ምላስህን በእርሱ አታላውስ ፡ ፡

and they have said : forsake not your gods . forsake not wadd , nor suwa ' , nor yaghuth and ya 'uq and nasr .
አሉም « አምላኮቻችሁን አትተዉ ፡ ፡ ወድንም ፣ ሱዋዕንም ፣ የጉሥንም ፣ የዑቅንም ነስርንም አትተው ፡ ፡

let not your riches or your children divert you from the remembrance of allah . if any act thus , the loss is their own .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ገንዘቦቻችሁና ልጆቻችሁ አላህን ከማስታወስ አያታሉዋችሁ ፡ ፡ ይህንንም የሚሠሩ ሰዎች እነዚያ እነርሱ ከሳሪዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡

" ' what is the matter with you , that ye place not your hope for kindness and long-suffering in allah , -
ለአላህ ልቅናን የማትሹት ለእናንተ ምን አላችሁ ?

some of those who have divided their religion into different sects are not your concern . their affairs are in the hands of god who will show them all that they have done .
እነዚያ ሃይማኖታቸውን የለያዩ አሕዛብም የኾኑ በምንም ከእነሱ አይደለህም ፡ ፡ ነገራቸው ወደ አላህ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ይሠሩት የነበሩትን ሁሉ ይነገራቸዋል ፡ ፡

and saly not your offspring for fear of want ; we provide for them and for yourselves ; verily their slaying is a great crime .
ልጆቻችሁንም ድኽነትን ለመፍራት አትግደሉ ፡ ፡ እኛ እንመግባቸዋለን ፡ ፡ እናንተንም ( እንመግባለን ) ፡ ፡ እነርሱን መግደል ታላቅ ኃጢኣት ነውና ፡ ፡

" and turn not your face away from men with pride , nor walk in insolence through the earth . verily , allah likes not each arrogant boaster .
« ጉንጭህንም ( በኩራት ) ከሰዎች አታዙር ፡ ፡ በምድርም ላይ ተንበጥርረህ አትሂድ ፡ ፡ አላህ ተንበጥራሪን ጉረኛን ሁሉ አይወድምና ፡ ፡

choose not your fathers nor your brethren for friends if they take pleasure in disbelief rather than faith . whoso of you taketh them for friends , such are wrong-doers .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! አባቶቻችሁና ወንድሞቻችሁ ክህደትን ከእምነት አብልጠው ቢወዱ ወዳጆች አድርጋችሁ አትያዙዋቸው ፡ ፡ ከእናንተም ውስጥ ወዳጅ የሚያደርጋቸው እነዚያ እነሱ በዳዮች ናቸው ፤

" and take in your hand a bundle of thin grass and strike therewith ( your wife ) , and break not your oath . truly !
« በእጅህም ጭብጥ አርጩሜን ያዝ ፡ ፡ በእርሱም ( ሚስትህን ) ምታ ፡ ፡ ማላህንም አታፍርስ » ( አልነው ) ፡ ፡ እኛ ታጋሸ ኾኖ አገኘነው ፡ ፡ ምን ያምር ባሪያ እርሱ በጣም መላሳ ነው ፡ ፡
