and they come not unto thee with a similitude but we bring thee the truth and an excellent interpretation .
በጥያቄም አይመጡብህም እውነተኛውን ( መልስ ) መልካምን ፍችም የምናመጣልህ ብንኾን እንጅ ፡ ፡

strike for them a similitude -- the inhabitants of the city , when the envoys came to it ;
ለእነርሱም የከተማይቱን ( የአንጾኪያን ) ሰዎች ምሳሌ መልክተኞቹ በመጧት ጊዜ ( የኾነውን ) ግለጽላቸው ፡ ፡

and propound thou unto them the similitude of the inhabitants of a town , when there came thereto the sent ones ;
ለእነርሱም የከተማይቱን ( የአንጾኪያን ) ሰዎች ምሳሌ መልክተኞቹ በመጧት ጊዜ ( የኾነውን ) ግለጽላቸው ፡ ፡

and indeed we have put forth for men , in this quran every kind of similitude in order that they may remember .
በዚህም ቁርኣን ውስጥ ለሰዎች ይገሠጹ ዘንድ ከየምሳሌው ሁሉ በእርግጥ አብራራን ፡ ፡

and certainly we have explained for men in this quran every kind of similitude , but most men do not consent to aught but denying .
በዚህም ቁርኣን ውስጥ ከምሳሌው ሁሉ ለሰዎች በእርግጥ መላለስን ፡ ፡ አብዛኞቹም ሰዎች ክህደትን እንጂ ሌላን እምቢ አሉ ፡ ፡

coin for them a similitude : the people of the city when those sent ( from allah ) came unto them ;
ለእነርሱም የከተማይቱን ( የአንጾኪያን ) ሰዎች ምሳሌ መልክተኞቹ በመጧት ጊዜ ( የኾነውን ) ግለጽላቸው ፡ ፡

and assuredly we have sent down unto you revelations illuminating and a similitude for those who passed away before you and an exhortation unto the god-fearing .
ወደእናንተም አብራሪ የኾኑን አንቀጾች ከእነዚያ ከበፊታችሁ ካለፉትም ( ምሳሌዎች ዓይነት ) ምሳሌን ለጥንቁቆቹ መገሰጫንም በእርግጥ አወረድን ፡ ፡

and assuredly we have variously propounded for mankind in this qur 'an every kind of similitude , yet most men have refused everything except infidelity .
በዚህም ቁርኣን ውስጥ ከምሳሌው ሁሉ ለሰዎች በእርግጥ መላለስን ፡ ፡ አብዛኞቹም ሰዎች ክህደትን እንጂ ሌላን እምቢ አሉ ፡ ፡

and assuredly we have variously propounded in this qur 'an for mankind every kind of similitude ; and man is of all things the most disputing .
በዚህም ቁርኣን ውስጥ ከየምሳሌው ሁሉ ለሰዎች መላልሰን ገለጽን ፡ ፡ ሰውም ከነገሩ ሁሉ ይበልጥ ክርክረ ብዙ ነው ፡ ፡

and he hath coined for us a similitude , and hath forgotten the fact of his creation , saying : who will revive these bones when they have rotted away ?
ለእኛም ምሳሌን አደረገልን ፡ ፡ መፈጠሩንም ረሳ ፡ ፡ « አጥንቶችን እነርሱ የበሰበሱ ሲኾኑ ሕያው የሚያደርጋቸው ማነው ? » አለ ፡ ፡

a similitude of those who disbelieve in their lord : their works are as ashes which the wind bloweth hard upon a stormy day . they have no control of aught that they have earned .
የእነዚያ በጌታቸው የካዱት ሰዎች ምሳሌ ( መልካም ) ሥራዎቻቸው በነፋሻ ቀን ነፋስ በርሱ እንደ በረታችበት አመድ ነው ፡ ፡ በሠሩት ሥራ በምንም ላይ ( ሊጠቀሙ ) አይችሉም ፡ ፡ ይህ እርሱ ሩቅ ጥፋት ነው ፡ ፡

and he has struck for us a similitude and forgotten his creation ; he says , ' who shall quicken the bones when they are decayed ? '
ለእኛም ምሳሌን አደረገልን ፡ ፡ መፈጠሩንም ረሳ ፡ ፡ « አጥንቶችን እነርሱ የበሰበሱ ሲኾኑ ሕያው የሚያደርጋቸው ማነው ? » አለ ፡ ፡

allah propoundeth a similitude : man having several partners , " quarelling , and a man wholly belonging to one man . are the two equal in likeness ?
አላህ በእርሱ ተጨቃጫቂዎች የኾኑ ተጋሪዎች ያሉትን ባሪያና ለአንድ ሰው ብቻ ንጹሕ የኾነን ባሪያ ( ለሚያጋራና ባንድነቱ ለሚያምን ሰው ) ምሳሌ አደረገ ፡ ፡ በምሳሌ ይስተካከላሉን ? ምስጋና ለአላህ ይገባው ፡ ፡ በእውነቱ አብዛኞቻቸው አያውቁም ፡ ፡

allah coineth a similitude : a man in relation to whom are several part-owners , quarrelling , and a man belonging wholly to one man . are the two equal in similitude ?
አላህ በእርሱ ተጨቃጫቂዎች የኾኑ ተጋሪዎች ያሉትን ባሪያና ለአንድ ሰው ብቻ ንጹሕ የኾነን ባሪያ ( ለሚያጋራና ባንድነቱ ለሚያምን ሰው ) ምሳሌ አደረገ ፡ ፡ በምሳሌ ይስተካከላሉን ? ምስጋና ለአላህ ይገባው ፡ ፡ በእውነቱ አብዛኞቻቸው አያውቁም ፡ ፡

a similitude of the garden which is promised unto those who keep their duty ( to allah ) : underneath it rivers flow ; its food is everlasting , and its shade ; this is the reward of those who keep their duty , while the reward of disbelievers is the fire .
ያች ጥንቁቆቹ ተስፋ የተሰጧት ገነት ምጣኔዋ ( እንደሚነገራችሁ ነው ) ፡ ፡ ከሥርዋ ወንዞች ይፈስሳሉ ፡ ፡ ምግቧ ( ሁልጊዜ ) የማይቋረጥ ፤ ነው ፡ ፡ ጥላዋም ( እንደዚሁ ) ፡ ፡ ይህች የእነዚያ የተጠነቀቁት መጨረሻ ናት ፡ ፡ የከሃዲዎችም መጨረሻ እሳት ናት ፡ ፡
