das retabel des rechten seitenaltars stammt aus dem 18. jahrhundert. vom barocken figurenschmuck sind aber nur noch die reliefs seitlich des predellenfeldes vorhanden.

der figurenschmuck des dreikönigenportals wurde von peter fuchs geschaffen. leider wurde es im zweiten weltkrieg beschädigt.

das brandenburger tor, 1789-1791 als teil der zollmauer von karl gotthard langhans errichtet, und vor allem sein figurenschmuck, die quadriga, besaßen seit ihrer errichtung immer besondere symbolkraft: als zankapfel zwischen preußen und frankreich, als tragischer zeuge des zweiten weltkriegs und der daraus resultierenden teilung berlins und zuletzt als wahrzeichen der wiedervereinigung.
built as part of karl gotthard langhans’ customs wall in 1789-1791, the brandenburg gate and, to a even greater extent, its ornamental figures in the form of the quadriga were potent symbols right from the start: they were a bone of contention between prussia and france, tragic witnesses to ww ii and the resulting partition of berlin and, most recently, the emblem of german reunification.
