did the story of the armies reach you ?

আপনার কাছে দাবীদারদের বৃত ্ তান ্ ত পৌছেছে , যখন তারা প ্ রাচীর ডিঙ ্ গীয়ে এবাদত খানায় প ্ রবেশ করেছিল ।
and did the news of the two disputants reach you ? when they scaled over the wall into dawud s mosque ’ .

আর তোমরা অল ্ পই উপদেশ গ ্ রহণ কর । অনেক জনপদকে আমি ধ ্ বংস করে দিয়েছি । তাদের কাছে আমার আযাব রাত ্ রি বেলায় পৌছেছে অথবা দ ্ বিপ ্ রহরে বিশ ্ রামরত অবস ্ থায় ।
and a great number of towns ( their population ) we destroyed ( for their crimes ) . our torment came upon them ( suddenly ) by night or while they were sleeping for their afternoon rest .

আমি মানুষকে তার পিতা-মাতার সাথে সদ ্ ব ্ যবহারের আদেশ দিয়েছি । তার জননী তাকে কষ ্ টসহকারে গর ্ ভে ধারণ করেছে এবং কষ ্ টসহকারে প ্ রসব করেছে । তাকে গর ্ ভে ধারণ করতে ও তার স ্ তন ্ য ছাড়তে লেগেছে ত ্ রিশ মাস । অবশেষে সে যখন শক ্ তি-সামর ্ থে ? 480 ; বয়সে ও চল ্ লিশ বছরে পৌছেছে , তখন বলতে লাগল , হে আমার পালনকর ্ তা , আমাকে এরূপ ভাগ ্ য দান কর , যাতে আমি তোমার নেয়ামতের শোকর করি , যা তুমি দান করেছ আমাকে ও আমার পিতা-মাতাকে এবং যাতে আমি তোমার পছন ্ দনীয় সৎকাজ করি । আমার সন ্ তানদেরকে সৎকর ্ মপরায়ণ কর , আমি তোমার প ্ রতি তওবা করলাম এবং আমি আজ ্ ঞাবহদের অন ্ যতম ।
and we have commanded man to be good towards parents ; his mother bore him with hardship , and delivered him with hardship ; and carrying him and weaning him is for thirty months ; until when he * reached maturity and became forty years of age , he said , “ my lord ! inspire me to be thankful for the favours you bestowed upon me and my parents , and that i may perform the deeds pleasing to you , and keep merit among my offspring ; i have inclined towards you and i am a muslim . ( ” * this verse was revealed concerning s. abu bakr – the first caliph , r. a. a )
