Ես եւ իմ Հայրը մի ենք»:
i and my father are one.

«Ես եմ ճշմարիտ որթատունկը, եւ իմ Հայրը մշակն է:
i am the true vine, and my father is the husbandman.

Վրդովուեցին նրա եղբայրները, բայց հայրը մտքում պահեց նրա պատմածը:
and his brethren envied him; but his father observed the saying.

Հայրը սիրում է Որդուն եւ ամէն ինչ տուել է նրա ձեռքը:
the father loveth the son, and hath given all things into his hand.

Զաքարիան՝ նրա հայրը, Սուրբ Հոգով լցուեց, մարգարէացաւ եւ ասաց.
and his father zacharias was filled with the holy ghost, and prophesied, saying,

Սակայն Հայրը ոչ մէկին չի դատում, այլ ամէն դատաստան տուել է իր Որդուն,
for the father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the son:

Յակոբը բնակւում էր Քանանացիների երկրում՝ այնտեղ, ուր պանդխտել էր իր հայրը:
and jacob dwelt in the land wherein his father was a stranger, in the land of canaan.

Իմ Հայրը փառաւորուած կը լինի նրանով, որ դուք շատ պտուղ տաք եւ իմ աշակերտները լինէք:
herein is my father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

Դու այն կը մատուցես քո հօրը, որ ուտի եւ քեզ օրհնի քո հայրը, քանի դեռ կենդանի է»:
and thou shalt bring it to thy father, that he may eat, and that he may bless thee before his death.

Աբրահամը՝ ձեր հայրը, ցանկացաւ իմ աշխարհ գալու օրը տեսնել. տեսաւ եւ ուրախացաւ»:
your father abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.

Ես նա եմ, որ վկայում եմ իմ մասին, եւ վկայում է իմ մասին Հայրը, որ ինձ ուղարկեց»:
i am one that bear witness of myself, and the father that sent me beareth witness of me.

«Մի՛ վախեցիր, փոքրի՛կ հօտ, որովհետեւ ձեր Հայրը հաճեց տալ ձեզ արքայութիւնը:
fear not, little flock; for it is your father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Իմ Հայրը, որ նրանց ինձ տուեց, ամենքից մեծ է. եւ իմ Հօր ձեռքից ոչ ոք չի կարող ոչինչ յափշտակել:
my father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my father's hand.

Հայրը նրան ասաց. «Որդեա՛կ, դու միշտ ինձ հետ ես, եւ ամէն ինչ, որ իմն է, քոնն է.
and he said unto him, son, thou art ever with me, and all that i have is thine.

Եղբայրն իր եղբօրը մահուան պիտի մատնի, եւ հայրը՝ որդուն. եւ որդիները հայրերի դէմ պիտի ելնեն ու պիտի սպանեն նրանց:
now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.

Արդ, նրանց չնմանուէ՛ք, որովհետեւ ձեր Հայրը գիտէ, թէ ինչ է ձեզ պէտք, նախքան որ դուք նրանից մի բան ուզէք:
be not ye therefore like unto them: for your father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

Աւագ դուստրն ասաց կրտսերին. «Մեր հայրը ծերացել է, եւ երկրում չկայ մէկը, որ մեզ հետ պառկի, ինչպէս ողջ աշխարհի կարգն է:
and the firstborn said unto the younger, our father is old, and there is not a man in the earth to come in unto us after the manner of all the earth:

Եթէ մէկն ինձ ծառայի, իմ յետեւից կը գայ. եւ ուր ես եմ, այնտեղ կը լինի եւ իմ ծառան. եթէ մէկը ինձ ծառայի, նրան կը պատուի իմ Հայրը:
if any man serve me, let him follow me; and where i am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my father honour.

Երբ նրանք դատարկում էին իրենց պարկերը, իւրաքանչիւրի արծաթի քսակը իր պարկում էր: Եւ երբ նրանք տեսան իրենց արծաթի քսակները, իրենք եւ իրենց հայրը խիստ վախեցան:
and it came to pass as they emptied their sacks, that, behold, every man's bundle of money was in his sack: and when both they and their father saw the bundles of money, they were afraid.

Անդրանիկ որդին ծնուեց բոլորովին շէկ, թաւամազ մորթով, եւ հայրը նրան կոչեց Եսաւ: Ապա Եսաւի գարշապարից բռնած ծնուեց նրա եղբայրը: Սրան էլ կոչեց Յակոբ:
and the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment; and they called his name esau.
