Զակքէոսը շտապեց իջաւ եւ նրան ընդունեց ուրախութեամբ:
and he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully.

Իսկ նրանք երկրպագեցին Յիսուսին եւ մեծ ուրախութեամբ վերադաձան Երուսաղէմ:
and they worshipped him, and returned to jerusalem with great joy:

Եթէ տեղեակ պահէիր ինձ, քեզ ճանապարհ կը դնէի ուրախութեամբ, թմբուկների ու քնարների նուագակցութեամբ:
wherefore didst thou flee away secretly, and steal away from me; and didst not tell me, that i might have sent thee away with mirth, and with songs, with tabret, and with harp?

Եւ իսկոյն, ահով եւ մեծ ուրախութեամբ, գերեզմանից դուրս ելնելով՝ վազեցին աշակերտներին պատմելու:
and they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.

Ապառաժի վրայ սերմանուածները այն մարդիկ են, որ, երբ լսում են խօսքը, իսկոյն ուրախութեամբ ընդունում են այն,
and these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;

Եւ որ ապառաժի վրայ սերմանուեց, այն է, որ երբ լսում է խօսքը, իսկոյն ուրախութեամբ էլ ընդունում է այն:
but he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;

Եւ երբ նա մօտեցաւ Ձիթենեաց լերան զառիվայրին, աշակերտների ամբողջ բազմութիւնը ուրախութեամբ եւ բարձրաձայն սկսեց օրհնել Աստծուն՝ կատարուած բոլոր զօրութիւնների համար, որ տեսան:
and when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise god with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen;

Երբ կինը ծննդաբերում է, նրա համար տրտմութիւն է, որովհետեւ նրա ժամը հասած է. բայց երբ մանկանը ծնի, այլեւս չի յիշում նեղութիւնը՝ ուրախութեան պատճառով, որ աշխարհում մի մարդ ծնուեց:
a woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.
