የሕይወትን መንገድ አስታወቅኸኝ፤ ከፊትህ ጋር ደስታን ትሞላብኛለህ።
thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.

በአደባባይዋም መካከል ከእግዚአብሔርና ከበጉ ዙፋን የሚወጣውን እንደ ብርሌ የሚያንጸባርቀውን የሕይወትን ውኃ ወንዝ አሳየኝ።
and he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of god and of the lamb.

በፈተና የሚጸና ሰው የተባረከ ነው፤ ከተፈተነ በኋላ ለሚወዱት ተስፋ ስለ እርሱ የሰጣቸውን የሕይወትን አክሊል ይቀበላልና።
blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the lord hath promised to them that love him.

በእነርሱም መካከል የሕይወትን ቃል እያቀረባችሁ በዓለም እንደ ብርሃን ትታያላችሁ፥ ስለዚህም በከንቱ እንዳልሮጥሁ በከንቱም እንዳልደከምሁ በክርስቶስ ቀን የምመካበት ይሆንልኛል።
holding forth the word of life; that i may rejoice in the day of christ, that i have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.

እንዲሁም፥ እናንተ ባሎች ሆይ፥ ደካማ ፍጥረት ስለ ሆኑ ከሚስቶቻችሁ ጋር በማስተዋል አብራችሁ ኑሩ፤ ጸሎታችሁ እንዳይከለከል አብረው ደግሞ የሕይወትን ጸጋ እንደሚወርሱ አድርጋችሁ አክብሩአቸው።
likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.

ያን ጊዜ የሕይወትን ድርብ ( ቅጣት ) የሞትንም ድርብ ( ቅጣት ) ባቀመስንህ ነበር ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ላንተ በኛ ላይ ረዳትን አታገኝም ነበር ፡ ፡
and if it were * , we would then have made you taste a double life and a double death – you would then not find any supporter against us . ( * which is impossible . )
