ኢዮስጦስም የሚሉትን በርስያን የተባለውን ዮሴፍንና ማትያስን ሁለቱን አቆሙ።

በገሊላ ባሕር አጠገብ ሲመላለስም ሁለት ወንድማማች ጴጥሮስ የሚሉትን ስምዖንን ወንድሙንም እንድርያስን መረባቸውን ወደ ባሕር ሲጥሉ አየ፥ ዓሣ አጥማጆች ነበሩና።
and jesus, walking by the sea of galilee, saw two brethren, simon called peter, and andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.

በዚያች እርስዋ መልካም በኾነችው ( ጠባይ ) መጥፎይቱን ነገር ገፍትር ፡ ፡ እኛ የሚሉትን ሁሉ ዐዋቂዎች ነን ፡ ፡
dispel evil with what is good . we know well what they attribute ( to us ) .

ይህ ምስክር እውነተኛ ነው። ስለዚህ ምክንያት የአይሁድን ተረትና ከእውነት ፈቀቅ የሚሉትን ሰዎች ትእዛዝ ሳያዳምጡ፥ በሃይማኖት ጤናሞች እንዲሆኑ በብርቱ ውቀሳቸው።
this witness is true. wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;

ከእነዚህም አንዳንዶች ስተው፥ የሚሉትን ወይም ስለ እነርሱ አስረግጠው የሚናገሩትን ሳያስተውሉ፥ የሕግ አስተማሪዎች ሊሆኑ እየወደዱ፥ ወደ ከንቱ ንግግር ፈቀቅ ብለዋል።
from which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;

እነዚያን መከራ ፤ በነካቻቸው ጊዜ « እኛ ለአላህ ፤ ነን እኛም ወደርሱ ተመላሾች » ነን የሚሉትን ( አብስር ) ፡ ፡
and in difficulty say , " we are the servants of god and to him we shall all return " .

እኛ የሚሉትን ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ነን ፡ ፡ አንተም በእነርሱ ላይ አስገዳጅ አይደለህም ፡ ፡ ስለዚህ ዛቻየን የሚፈራን ሰው በቁርኣን አስታውስ ፡ ፡
( o prophet ) , we are well aware of what they say ; and you are not required to force things on them . so exhort with the qur 'an all those who fear my warning .

በወገኑም የጳንጦስ ሰው የሚሆን አቂላ የሚሉትን አንድ አይሁዳዊ አገኘ፤ እርሱም ከጥቂት ጊዜ በፊት ከሚስቱ ከጵርስቅላ ጋር ከኢጣልያ መጥቶ ነበር፥ አይሁድ ከሮሜ ይወጡ ዘንድ ቀላውዴዎስ አዞ ነበርና፤ ወደ እነርሱ ቀረበ፥
and found a certain jew named aquila, born in pontus, lately come from italy, with his wife priscilla; (because that claudius had commanded all jews to depart from rome:) and came unto them.

እነዚህ የሚሉትን አትሰማምን? አሉት። ኢየሱስም። እሰማለሁ፤ ከሕፃናትና ከሚጠቡት አፍ ምስጋናን ለራስህ አዘጋጀህ የሚለውን ቃል ከቶ አላነበባችሁምን? አላቸው።
and said unto him, hearest thou what these say? and jesus saith unto them, yea; have ye never read, out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?

በአላህ መንገድና ከወንዶች ከሴቶችና ከልጆችም የኾኑትን ደካሞች እነዚያን ፡ - « ጌታችን ሆይ ! ከዚች ባለቤቶችዋ በዳይ ከኾኑት ከተማ አውጣን ከአንተም ዘንድ ለእኛ አሳዳሪን አድርግልን ከአንተ ዘንድም ለእኛ ረዳትን አድርግልን » የሚሉትን ( ለማዳን ) የማትጋደሉት ለእናንተ ምን አላችሁ
and how should you not fight for the cause of god , and for the helpless old men , women , and children who say , " deliver us , lord , from this city of wrongdoers , grant us a protector out of your grace and grant us a supporter out of your grace ? "
