በውስጧ ያለችውን ሰልሰቢል ተብላ የምትጠራውን ምንጭ ፡ ፡
( of ) a fountain therein which is named salsabil .

በእውነቱ ለእነሱ ከንግሥናው ፋንታ አላቸውን ያን ጊዜ ለሰዎች በተምር ፍሬ ላይ ያለችውን ነጥብ ያህል አይሰጡም ነበር ፡ ፡
do they have a share in sovereignty ? if so , they will not give those people [ so much as ] a speck on a date-stone !

ይህችም አጋር በዓረብ ምድር ያለችው ደብረ ሲና ናት፤ አሁንም ያለችውን ኢየሩሳሌምን ትመስላለች፥ ከልጆችዋ ጋር በባርነት ናትና።
for this agar is mount sinai in arabia, and answereth to jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.

ከሰማይም የሰማሁት ድምፅ እንደ ገና ሲናገረኝና። ሂድና በባሕርና በምድር ላይ ከሚቆመው መልአክ በእጁ ያለችውን የተከፈተችውን መጽሐፍ ውሰድ ሲል ሰማሁ።
and the voice which i heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.

በፈለጎቻቸውም ( በነቢያቶቹ ፈለግ ) ላይ የመርየምን ልጅ ዒሳን ከተውራት በስተፊቱ ያለውን አረጋጋጭ ሲኾን አስከተልን ፡ ፡ ኢንጂልንም በውስጡ ቀጥታና ብርሃን ያለበት በስተፊቱ ያለችውን ተውራትንም የሚያረጋግጥ ለጥንቁቆችም መሪና ገሳጭ ሲኾን ሰጠነው ፡ ፡
and in their footsteps , we sent ' iesa ( jesus ) , son of maryam ( mary ) , confirming the taurat ( torah ) that had come before him , and we gave him the injeel ( gospel ) , in which was guidance and light and confirmation of the taurat ( torah ) that had come before it , a guidance and an admonition for al-muttaqun ( the pious - see v. 2 : 2 ) .
