ti bijaše bludnica kakvih nema: nitko za tobom nije trèao da s tobom blud provodi, nego si sama davala plaæu bludnièku, a nisu je tebi plaæali. toliko si bila opaka!
and the contrary is in thee from other women in thy whoredoms, whereas none followeth thee to commit whoredoms: and in that thou givest a reward, and no reward is given unto thee, therefore thou art contrary.

ne raduj se, izraele, ne klièi k'o drugi narodi; bludu se oda, jer, ostavivši boga svoga, zavolio si plaæu bludnièku po svim gumnima žitnim.
rejoice not, o israel, for joy, as other people: for thou hast gone a whoring from thy god, thou hast loved a reward upon every cornfloor.
