경고하라 실로 그대는 경고 자일 뿐으로
(muhammad), preach; you are only a preacher.

그러나 결코 그렇게 될 수 없으며 불지옥이 있을 뿐으로
but nay! for lo! it is the fire of hell

오직 끓어 오르는 액체와 검 고 어두운 혹독한 액체 뿐으로
but boiling and intensely cold water,

하나님만이 보이지 않는 것 을 알 뿐으로 그분은 어느 누구에 게도 그분의 신비를 알려 주지 않 으시니라
"(he alone) the all-knower of the gha'ib (unseen), and he reveals to none his gha'ib (unseen)."

실로 나는 하나님의 계시와 메세지를 전하는 것 뿐으로 하나 님과 그분의 선지자를 거역하는 자 볼지옥에 들어가 그곳에서 영 주하리라
"(mine is) but conveyance (of the truth) from allah and his messages (of islamic monotheism), and whosoever disobeys allah and his messenger, then verily, for him is the fire of hell, he shall dwell therein forever."

주여 저희는 저희 지도자들 과 훌륭한 분들에게 복종하였을 뿐으로 그들이 저희를 유혹하여 바른 길에서 벗어나게 하였을 뿐 입니다 라고 그들은 말하리라
and they say: our lord! lo! we obeyed our princes and great men, and they misled us from the way.

그러나 하나님을 거역한 그들에게는 멸망뿐으로 하나님은 그들의 행위를 방황케 하시니라
and (as for) those who disbelieve, for them is destruction and he has made their deeds ineffective.
