now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:

but the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

in hoc est caritas non quasi nos dilexerimus deum sed quoniam ipse dilexit nos et misit filium suum propitiationem pro peccatis nostri
herein is love, not that we loved god, but that he loved us, and sent his son to be the propitiation for our sins.
