non fecit taliter omni nationi et iudicia sua non manifestavit ei
he hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. praise ye the lord.

vae qui aedificat domum suam in iniustitia et cenacula sua non in iudicio amicum suum opprimet frustra et mercedem eius non reddet e
woe unto him that buildeth his house by unrighteousness, and his chambers by wrong; that useth his neighbour's service without wages, and giveth him not for his work;

ipse autem sapiens adduxit malum et verba sua non abstulit et consurget contra domum pessimorum et contra auxilium operantium iniquitate
yet he also is wise, and will bring evil, and will not call back his words: but will arise against the house of the evildoers, and against the help of them that work iniquity.

qui abscondit scelera sua non dirigetur qui confessus fuerit et reliquerit ea misericordiam consequetu
he that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

ut confirmet dominus sermones suos quos locutus est de me dicens si custodierint filii tui viam suam et ambulaverint coram me in veritate in omni corde suo et in omni anima sua non auferetur tibi vir de solio israhe
that the lord may continue his word which he spake concerning me, saying, if thy children take heed to their way, to walk before me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, there shall not fail thee (said he) a man on the throne of israel.

odoratusque est dominus odorem suavitatis et ait ad eum nequaquam ultra maledicam terrae propter homines sensus enim et cogitatio humani cordis in malum prona sunt ab adulescentia sua non igitur ultra percutiam omnem animantem sicut fec
and the lord smelled a sweet savour; and the lord said in his heart, i will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will i again smite any more every thing living, as i have done.
