but i certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.

considerabam ad dexteram et videbam et non erat qui cognosceret me periit fuga a me et non est qui requirit animam mea
let the righteous smite me; it shall be a kindness: and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also shall be in their calamities.

postula a me et dabo tibi gentes hereditatem tuam et possessionem tuam terminos terra
ask of me, and i shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

and samuel said to saul, why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up? and saul answered, i am sore distressed; for the philistines make war against me, and god is departed from me, and answereth me no more, neither by prophets, nor by dreams: therefore i have called thee, that thou mayest make known unto me what i shall do.
