a) tällaisella tuotteella katsotaan olevan tämän asetuksen mukaisesti myönnetty tyyppihyväksyntätodistus, jos:
(a) the product shall be deemed to have a type-certificate issued in accordance with this regulation when:

kaksi- tai kolmipyöräisen moottoriajoneuvotyypin hallintalaitteiden, ilmaisimien ja osoittimien tunnistamista koskeva ey-tyyppihyväksyntätodistus
ec component type-approval certificate in respect of the identification of controls, tell-tales and indicators for a type of two or three-wheel motor vehicle

3.3.3 maahantuovan sopimuspuolen on annettava tyyppihyväksyntätodistus tai lisätyyppihyväksyntätodistus ilma-alukselle, moottorille tai potkurille, kun
the importing party shall issue its type certificate or supplemental type certificate for an aircraft, engine or propeller when:

jos tuotteella on ollut tyyppihyväksyntätodistus tai lentokelpoisuustodistuksen myöntämiseen oikeuttava asiakirja, jonka jokin jäsenvaltio on myöntänyt ennen 28 päivää syyskuuta 2003, sovelletaan seuraavia säännöksiä:
with regard to products which had a type-certificate, or a document allowing the issuing of a certificate of airworthiness, issued before 28 september 2003 by a member state, the following provisions shall apply:

tuotteisiin, joilla on kansallinen tyyppihyväksyntätodistus tai vastaava ja joita koskevaa muutoksen hyväksyntämenettelyä ei ollut saatettu loppuun jäsenvaltiossa, kun tämän asetuksen mukainen tyyppihyväksyntätodistus oli määriteltävä, sovelletaan seuraavaa:
with regard to products that have a national type-certificate, or equivalent, and for which the approval process of a change carried out by a member state was not finalised at the time when the type-certificate had to be in accordance with this regulation, the following shall apply:

sellaisten tuotteiden osalta, joilla on ollut kansallinen tyyppihyväksyntätodistus tai vastaava ja joihin tehtävää suurta korjausta koskevan suunnitelman hyväksymismenettelyä ei ollut saatettu loppuun jäsenvaltiossa, kun tämän asetuksen mukainen tyyppihyväksyntätodistus oli määriteltävä, osassa 21 olevan 21a.433 kohdan a alakohdan noudattamiseksi jaa:n tai jäsenvaltion menettelyissä tehdyt vaatimustenmukaisuutta koskevat havainnot katsotaan viraston tekemiksi havainnoiksi.
with regard to products that had a national type-certificate, or equivalent, and for which the approval process of a major repair design carried out by a member state was not finalised at the time when the type-certificate had to be determined in accordance with this regulation, compliance findings made under jaa or member state procedures shall be deemed to have been made by the agency for the purpose of complying with 21a.433(a) of part 21.
