derfor sier herren, hærskarenes gud, israels gud, så: se, jeg hjemsøker babels konge og hans land, likesom jeg har hjemsøkt assurs konge.
therefore thus saith the lord of hosts, the god of israel; behold, i will punish the king of babylon and his land, as i have punished the king of assyria.

da sendte nebusaradan, høvdingen over livvakten, og nebusasban, den øverste av hoffmennene, og nergal-sareser, den øverste av magerne, og alle babels konges stormenn,
so nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard sent, and nebushasban, rab-saris, and nergal-sharezer, rabmag, and all the king of babylon's princes;
