till i shall make thine enemies thy footstool;

И повергну еламитян пред врагами их, и пред ищущими души их;
and i will cause elam to be dismayed before their enemies, and before them that seek their life;

за то Я повергну тебя на землю, перед царями отдам тебя на позор.
i will cast you to the ground before kings, that you may be a spectacle before them.

разорю высоты ваши и разрушу столбы ваши, и повергну трупы ваши на обломки идолов ваших, и возгнушается душа Моя вами
i will destroy your high places, and cut down your incense altars, and cast your dead bodies upon the bodies of your idols; and my soul will abhor you

и жертвенники ваши будут опустошены, столбы ваши в честь солнца будут разбиты, и повергну убитых ваших перед идолами вашими
your altars shall become desolate, and your incense altars shall be broken; and i will cast down your slain men before your idol

И разрушу стену, которую вы обмазывали грязью, и повергну ее на землю, и откроется основание ее, и падет,
so i will demolish the wall that you have daubed and bring it down to the ground, so that its foundation shall be laid bare, and you shall be defeated and consumed in the midst of it;

и жертвенники ваши будут опустошены, столбы ваши в честь солнца будут разбиты, и повергну убитых ваших перед идолами вашими;
and your altars shall be desolate, and your images shall be broken: and i will cast down your slain men before your idols.

От красоты твоей возгордилось сердце твое, от тщеславия твоего ты погубил мудрость твою; за то Я повергну тебя на землю, перед царями отдам тебя напозор
your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; you have corrupted your wisdom by reason of your brightness: i have cast you to the ground; i have laid you before kings, that they may see you

От красоты твоей возгордилось сердце твое, от тщеславия твоего ты погубил мудрость твою; за то Я повергну тебя на землю, перед царями отдам тебя напозор.
thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: i will cast thee to the ground, i will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

Когда я повергну его в шео́л со сходящими в яму, то звуком его падения я сотрясу народы, и утешатся в глубинах земли все деревья Эдема, отборные и лучшие на Лива́не, все пьющие воду.
