aforetime, as a guidance to mankind, and he sent down the criterion [of judgement between right and wrong (this quran)].

kisha mwenyezi mungu akateremsha utulivu wake juu ya mtume wake na juu ya waumini.
god gave confidence to his messenger and the believers and helped them with an army which you could not see.

mwenyezi mungu ndiye aliye ziumba mbingu na ardhi, na akateremsha maji kutoka mbinguni.
it was god who created the heavens and the earth.

na pamoja nao akateremsha kitabu kwa haki, ili kihukumu baina ya watu katika yale walio khitalifiana.
and he sent down with them the scripture, with the truth, to judge between people regarding their differences.

na akateremsha majeshi ambayo hamkuyaona, na akawaadhibu wale walio kufuru. na hayo ndiyo malipo ya makafiri.
god punished the unbelievers; this is the only recompense that the unbelievers deserve.

mwenyezi mungu ndiye aliye ziumba mbingu na ardhi, na akateremsha maji kutoka mbinguni. na kwa hayo akatoa matunda kuwa ni riziki yenu.
god is he who created the heavens and the earth, and sends down water from the sky, and with it produces fruits for your sustenance.

kisha mwenyezi mungu akateremsha utulivu wake juu ya mtume wake na juu ya waumini. na akateremsha majeshi ambayo hamkuyaona, na akawaadhibu wale walio kufuru.
but allah did pour his calm on the messenger and on the believers, and sent down forces which ye saw not: he punished the unbelievers; thus doth he reward those without faith.

kwa hakika mwenyezi mungu amewapa radhi waumini walipo fungamana nawe chini ya mti, na alijua yaliyomo nyoyoni mwao. basi akateremsha utulivu juu yao, na akawalipa kwa ushindi wa karibu.
allah was well pleased with the believers when they swore allegiance unto thee beneath the tree, and he knew what was in their hearts, and he sent down peace of reassurance on them, and hath rewarded them with a near victory;

na pamoja nao akateremsha kitabu kwa haki, ili kihukumu baina ya watu katika yale walio khitalifiana. na wala hawakukhitalifiana ila wale walio pewa kitabu hicho baada ya kuwafikia hoja zilizo wazi, kwa sababu ya uhasidi baina yao.
mankind was one single nation, and allah sent messengers with glad tidings and warnings; and with them he sent the book in truth, to judge between people in matters wherein they differed; but the people of the book, after the clear signs came to them, did not differ among themselves, except through selfish contumacy.

(mwenyezi mungu) ambaye amekufanyieni hii ardhi kuwa kama tandiko, na mbingu kama paa, na akateremsha maji kutoka mbinguni, na kwayo akatoa matunda yawe riziki zenu.
[he] who made for you the earth a bed [spread out] and the sky a ceiling and sent down from the sky, rain and brought forth thereby fruits as provision for you.

(mwenyezi mungu) ambaye amekufanyieni hii ardhi kuwa kama tandiko, na mbingu kama paa, na akateremsha maji kutoka mbinguni, na kwayo akatoa matunda yawe riziki zenu. basi msimfanyizie mwenyezi mungu washirika, na hali nyinyi mnajua.
the one who has appointed the earth a base for you, and the sky a canopy – and caused water to pour down from the sky, thereby producing fruits as food for you; and do not knowingly set up rivals to allah!
