walipofika waliwaombea hao waumini ili wampokee roho mtakatifu;
who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the holy ghost:

naye roho mtakatifu anatupa ushahidi wake. kwanza anasema:
whereof the holy ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,

lakini hao wafuasi walikuwa wamejaa furaha na roho mtakatifu.
and the disciples were filled with joy, and with the holy ghost.

mimi ninawabatiza kwa maji, lakini yeye atawabatiza kwa roho mtakatifu."
i indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the holy ghost.

alipokwisha sema hayo, akawapulizia na kuwaambia, "pokeeni roho mtakatifu.

and as i began to speak, the holy ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.

jambo lile bora ulilokabidhiwa lilinde kwa nguvu ya roho mtakatifu anayeishi ndani yetu.
that good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the holy ghost which dwelleth in us.

basi, petro na yohane wakawawekea mikono hao waumini, nao wakampokea roho mtakatifu.
then laid they their hands on them, and they received the holy ghost.

zakariya, baba yake mtoto, akajazwa roho mtakatifu, akatamka ujumbe wa mungu:
and his father zacharias was filled with the holy ghost, and prophesied, saying,

naye mungu anayejua mioyo ya watu, alithibitisha kwamba amewakubali kwa kuwapa nao roho mtakatifu kama alivyotupa sisi.
and god, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the holy ghost, even as he did unto us;

barnaba alikuwa mtu mwema na mwenye kujaa roho mtakatifu na imani. kundi kubwa la watu lilivutwa kwa bwana.
for he was a good man, and full of the holy ghost and of faith: and much people was added unto the lord.

neema ya bwana wetu yesu kristo upendo wa mungu baba ushirika wa roho mtakatifu uwe nasi sasa na hata milele zaidi amina.
may the grace of our lord jesus christ the love of god the father the fellowship of the holy spirit be with us now and forever more amen.
