and jesus answered and said, suffer ye thus far. and he touched his ear, and healed him.

if the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? if the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?

na miongoni mwao wapo wanao muudhi nabii na kusema: yeye huyu ni sikio tu. sema: basi ni sikio la kheri kwenu.
and among them are men who hurt the prophet (muhammad saw) and say: "he is (lending his) ear (to every news)."

simoni petro alikuwa na upanga; basi, akauchomoa, akamkata sikio la kulia mtumishi wa kuhani mkuu. mtumishi huyo aliitwa malko.

kama sikio lingejisemea: "kwa vile mimi si jicho, basi mimi si mali ya mwili", je, kwa hoja hiyo lingekoma kuwa sehemu ya mwili? la!
and if the ear shall say, because i am not the eye, i am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
