walipofika waliwaombea hao waumini ili wampokee roho mtakatifu;
who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the holy ghost:

naye roho mtakatifu anatupa ushahidi wake. kwanza anasema:
whereof the holy ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,

lakini hao wafuasi walikuwa wamejaa furaha na roho mtakatifu.
and the disciples were filled with joy, and with the holy ghost.

acheni kulewa divai maana hiyo itawaangamiza, bali mjazwe roho mtakatifu.
and be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the spirit;

na nilipoanza tu kuongea, roho mtakatifu aliwashukia kama alivyotushukia sisi pale awali.
and as i began to speak, the holy ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.

basi, petro na yohane wakawawekea mikono hao waumini, nao wakampokea roho mtakatifu.
then laid they their hands on them, and they received the holy ghost.

kwa hiyo, basi, kama asemavyo roho mtakatifu: "kama mkisikia sauti ya mungu leo,
wherefore (as the holy ghost saith, to day if ye will hear his voice,

basi, saulo ambaye aliitwa pia paulo, akiwa amejaa roho mtakatifu, alimkodolea macho huyo mchawi,
then saul, (who also is called paul,) filled with the holy ghost, set his eyes on him,

upokeeni wokovu kama kofia yenu ya chuma, na neno la mungu kama upanga mnaopewa na roho mtakatifu.
and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit, which is the word of god:

walipitia sehemu za frugia na galatia kwani roho mtakatifu hakuwaruhusu kuhubiri huo ujumbe mkoani asia.
now when they had gone throughout phrygia and the region of galatia, and were forbidden of the holy ghost to preach the word in asia,

kwa sababu hiyo, nawaambieni, watu watasamehewa dhambi na kufuru zao zote, lakini hawatasamehewa dhambi ya kumkufuru roho mtakatifu.
wherefore i say unto you, all manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the holy ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

tumaini hilo haliwezi kutuhadaa, maana mungu amekwisha miminia mioyoni mwetu upendo wake kwa njia ya roho mtakatifu aliyetujalia.
and hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of god is shed abroad in our hearts by the holy ghost which is given unto us.

basi, barnaba na saulo walipokwisha tumwa na roho mtakatifu, walishuka hadi seleukia, na kutoka huko walipanda meli hadi kisiwa cha kupro.
so they, being sent forth by the holy ghost, departed unto seleucia; and from thence they sailed to cyprus.

maombi ya neema na neema ya bwana wetu yesu kristo, na upendo wa mungu, na ushirika wa roho mtakatifu uwe nasi sote, sasa na milele.
may the grace of our lord jesus christ, and the love of god, and the fellowship of the holy spirit be with us all, now and forever

msimhuzunishe roho mtakatifu wa mungu maana roho huyo ni alama ya mungu kwenu kwamba ninyi ni watu wake, na thibitisho kwamba siku itakuja ambapo mungu atawakomboeni.
and grieve not the holy spirit of god, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

je, hamjui kwamba miili yenu ni hekalu la roho mtakatifu aliye ndani yenu, ambaye mlimpokea kutoka kwa mungu? ninyi basi, si mali yenu wenyewe.
what? know ye not that your body is the temple of the holy ghost which is in you, which ye have of god, and ye are not your own?
