na makaburi yatapo fukuliwa,
and the graves are turned inside out,

hakika yeye anawaakhirisha tu mpaka siku yatapo kodoka macho yao.
he but giveth them a respite till a day when eyes will stare (in terror),

hapo ndipo yatapo kodoka macho ya walio kufuru (na watasema:) ole wetu!
the eyes of those who disbelieved will stare in horror: “woe to us.

siku yatapo fika matokeo yake watasema wale walio kisahau: kweli mitume wa mola mlezi wetu walileta haki!
on the day (of judgment) when its interpretations will be revealed, those who had ignored its guidance will confess, saying, "the messengers of our lord had certainly come to us with the truth.

na miadi ya haki ikakaribia. hapo ndipo yatapo kodoka macho ya walio kufuru (na watasema:) ole wetu!
and nigh has drawn the true promise, and behold, the eyes of the unbelievers staring: 'alas for us!

siku yatapo fika matokeo yake watasema wale walio kisahau: kweli mitume wa mola mlezi wetu walileta haki! je, tunao waombezi ili watuombee?
on the day the event is finally fulfilled (i.e. the day of resurrection), those who neglected it before will say: "verily, the messengers of our lord did come with the truth, now are there any intercessors for us that they might intercede on our behalf?

hapo ndipo yatapo kodoka macho ya walio kufuru (na watasema:) ole wetu! bila ya shaka tulikuwa tumeghafilika na haya, bali tulikuwa wenye kudhulumu.
and [when] the true promise has approached; then suddenly the eyes of those who disbelieved will be staring [in horror, while they say], "o woe to us; we had been unmindful of this; rather, we were wrongdoers."
