toga radi ovako govori gospod gospod: povratiæu roblje jakovljevo i smilovaæu se svemu domu izrailjevom i revnovaæu za sveto ime svoje,
therefore thus saith the lord god; now will i bring again the captivity of jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of israel, and will be jealous for my holy name;

a na dom judin smilovaæu se, i izbaviæu ih gospodom bogom njihovim, a neæu ih izbaviti lukom ni maèem ni ratom ni konjima ni konjicima.
but i will have mercy upon the house of judah, and will save them by the lord their god, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, by horses, nor by horsemen.

neka bezbožnik ostavi svoj put i nepravednik misli svoje; i neka se vrati ka gospodu, i smilovaæu se na nj, i k bogu našem, jer prašta mnogo.
let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our god, for he will abundantly pardon.

i posejaæu je sebi na zemlji, i smilovaæu se na loruhamu, i reæi æu loamiji: ti si moj narod, i on æe reæi: bože moj!
and i will sow her unto me in the earth; and i will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and i will say to them which were not my people, thou art my people; and they shall say, thou art my god.

ovako veli gospod: evo, ja æu povratiti iz ropstva šatore jakovljeve i smilovaæu se na stanove njegove; i grad æe se sazidati na mestu svom, i dvor æe stajati na svoj naèin.
thus saith the lord; behold, i will bring again the captivity of jacob's tents, and have mercy on his dwellingplaces; and the city shall be builded upon her own heap, and the palace shall remain after the manner thereof.

a gospod mu reèe: uèiniæu da prodje sve dobro moje ispred tebe, i povikaæu po imenu: gospod pred tobom. smilovaæu se kome se smilujem, i požaliæu koga požalim.
and he said, i will make all my goodness pass before thee, and i will proclaim the name of the lord before thee; and will be gracious to whom i will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom i will shew mercy.
