qol is a concept with variety of definitions. qol is associated with a positive value as happiness, success, wealth, health and satisfactions [1]. quality of life (qol) has become an important tool in health care. the life expectancy and the enhancements of qol were the two main goals of healthy people 2000 initiative. the world health organization quality of life assessment (whoqol) group has included in its definition of qol the individual’s perception of his position in life in the context of culture and a system values in which he lives and in relation to his goals, expectations, and concerns [2]. the who emphasizes the positive side of the concept of health, a positive attitude of society towards the maintenance and improvement of health as the main condition for social well-being
