for the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak.

waza yena wathi kubo, oyi! basweli-kuqonda, bantliziyo zizeka kade ukukholwa kuko konke abakuthethayo abaprofeti!
then he said unto them, o fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:

akukuboni na abakuthethayo aba bantu, besithi, imizalwane yomibini, awayinyulayo uyehova, uyicekisile yona? babagiba ke abam abantu, ngokokude bangabi saba luhlanga phambi kwabo.
considerest thou not what this people have spoken, saying, the two families which the lord hath chosen, he hath even cast them off? thus they have despised my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.
