yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.

wamvukelisa olambileyo ngento oyidlayo, wawuhluthisa umphefumlo wocinezelweyo: kophumela ke ukukhanya kwakho emnyameni, nesithokothoko sakho sibe njengemini enkulu.
and if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noonday:

inkosi yam isihlambele isibingelelo sayo, ithe nethe kuyo ingcwele yayo, izivingcelele esandleni sotshaba iindonga zeengxande zayo ezinde; baxokozela endlwini kayehova njengemini yomthendeleko.
the lord hath cast off his altar, he hath abhorred his sanctuary, he hath given up into the hand of the enemy the walls of her palaces; they have made a noise in the house of the lord, as in the day of a solemn feast.
