but only the desire to seek for the countenance of their lord most high ;
তার মহান পালনকর ্ তার সন ্ তুষ ্ টি অন ্ বেষণ ব ্ যতীত ।

and there will remain the countenance of thine lord , owner of majesty and beneficence .
একমাত ্ র আপনার মহিমায় ও মহানুভব পালনকর ্ তার সত ্ তা ছাড়া ।

everything will perish save his countenance . his is the command , and unto him ye will be brought back .
আপনি আল ্ লাহর সাথে অন ্ য উপাস ্ যকে আহবান করবেন না । তিনি ব ্ যতীত অন ্ য কোন উপাস ্ য নেই । আল ্ লাহর সত ্ তা ব ্ যতীত সবকিছু ধবংস হবে । বিধান তাঁরই এবং তোমরা তাঁরই কাছে প ্ রত ্ যাবর ্ তিত হবে ।

there is no god but he . everything is perishable save his countenance his is the judgment , and unto him ye shall be returned .
আপনি আল ্ লাহর সাথে অন ্ য উপাস ্ যকে আহবান করবেন না । তিনি ব ্ যতীত অন ্ য কোন উপাস ্ য নেই । আল ্ লাহর সত ্ তা ব ্ যতীত সবকিছু ধবংস হবে । বিধান তাঁরই এবং তোমরা তাঁরই কাছে প ্ রত ্ যাবর ্ তিত হবে ।

and if one of them hath tidings of that which he likeneth to the beneficent one , his countenance becometh black and he is full of inward rage .
আর যখন তাদের কাউকে সুসংবাদ দেওয়া হয় তাই দিয়ে যার দৃষ ্ টান ্ ত সে স ্ থাপন করে পরম করুণাময়ের প ্ রতি , তার চেহারা তখন কালো হয়ে যায় আর সে অতিমাত ্ রায় ক ্ ষুদ ্ ধ ্ ব হয় ।

[ saying ] , " we feed you only for the countenance of allah . we wish not from you reward or gratitude .
''আমরা তোমাদের খেতে দিচ্ছি শুধু আল্লাহ্‌র সন্তষ্টিলাভের জন্য, তোমাদের থেকে আমরা কোনো প্রতিদান চাই না, কৃতজ্ঞতাও নয়।

and do not send away those who call upon their lord morning and afternoon , seeking his countenance . not upon you is anything of their account and not upon them is anything of your account .
আর তাদের তাড়িয়ে দিও না যারা তাদের প ্ রভুকে ডাকে প ্ রাতে ও সন ্ ধ ্ যায় , তারা চায় তাঁরই শুভ মুখ । তোমার উপরে তাদের হিসাবপত ্ রের কোন দায়দায়িত ্ ব নেই , আর তোমার হিসেবপত ্ রের কোনো দায়দায়িত ্ ব তাদের উপরে নেই , কাজেই যদি তাদের তাড়িয়ে দাও তবে তুমি হবে অন ্ যায়কারীদের অন ্ তর ্ ভুক ্ ত ।

and unto allah belongeth the east and the west ; so withersoever you turn there is the countenance of allah : verily allah is pervading , knowing .
আর আল ্ লাহ ্ ‌ রই পূর ্ বাঞ ্ চল ও পশ ্ চিমাঞ ্ চল । অতএব যেদিকে তোমরা ফেরো সে-দিকেই আল ্ লাহ ্ ‌ র মুখ । নিঃসন ্ দেহে আল ্ লাহ ্ সর ্ বব ্ যাপক , সর ্ বজ ্ ঞাতা ।

as i write, i recall the strength of this remarkable woman in whose stoic countenance were etched the sufferings of a saintly woman, sufferings not the fruit of personal making but from helping the helpless in their pitiful plight.
যেমনটা আমি লিখেছি, আমি এই অসাধারণ রমণীর মানসিক শক্তির বিষয়টি স্মরণ করতে পারি, তারা একটা সন্ত নারীকে যন্ত্রণা প্রদান করেছে। আইরিনের এই যন্ত্রণা লাভ, তার ব্যক্তিগত কাজের কারণে নয়,বরঞ্চ অসহায়দের প্রচণ্ড দুর্দশায় তাদের সাহায্য করার জন্য।

( saying ) : " we feed you seeking allah 's countenance only . we wish for no reward , nor thanks from you .
''আমরা তোমাদের খেতে দিচ্ছি শুধু আল্লাহ্‌র সন্তষ্টিলাভের জন্য, তোমাদের থেকে আমরা কোনো প্রতিদান চাই না, কৃতজ্ঞতাও নয়।
