''আমার শাস্তি এখন আস্বাদন কর আমার সতর্কীকরণের পরে?’’

" ye will surely taste of the tree of zaqqum .
''তোমরা আলবৎ আহার করবে যিক্কুমের গাছের থেকে,

ye shall indeed taste of the grievous penalty ; -
তোমরা অবশ ্ যই বেদনাদায়ক শাস ্ তি আস ্ বাদন করবে ।

every soul shall have a taste of death in the end to us shall ye be brought back .
জীবমাত ্ রই মৃত ্ যুর স ্ বাদ গ ্ রহণ করবে । অতঃপর তোমরা আমারই কাছে প ্ রত ্ যাবর ্ তিত হবে ।

every soul will taste of death . then unto us ye will be returned .
জীবমাত ্ রই মৃত ্ যুর স ্ বাদ গ ্ রহণ করবে । অতঃপর তোমরা আমারই কাছে প ্ রত ্ যাবর ্ তিত হবে ।

every soul must taste of death , then to us you shall be brought back .
জীবমাত ্ রই মৃত ্ যুর স ্ বাদ গ ্ রহণ করবে । অতঃপর তোমরা আমারই কাছে প ্ রত ্ যাবর ্ তিত হবে ।

every soul has to know the taste of death . you will then be sent back to us .
জীবমাত ্ রই মৃত ্ যুর স ্ বাদ গ ্ রহণ করবে । অতঃপর তোমরা আমারই কাছে প ্ রত ্ যাবর ্ তিত হবে ।

and if we give man a taste of mercy from us and then we withdraw it from him , indeed , he is despairing and ungrateful .
আর অবশ ্ যই যদি আমি মানুষকে আমার রহমতের আস ্ বাদ গ ্ রহণ করতে দেই , অতঃপর তা তার থেকে ছিনিয়ে নেই ; তাহলে সে হতাশ ও কৃতঘ ্ ন হয় ।

every soul has to experience the taste of death . we test you with both hardships and blessings .
প ্ রত ্ যেক সত ্ ত ্ বাকে মৃত ্ যুর স ্ বাদ গ ্ রহণ করতেই হবে । আর আমরা তোমাদের পরীক ্ ষা করি মন ্ দ ও ভাল দিয়ে যাচাই ক ’ রে । আর আমাদের কাছেই তোমাদের ফিরিয়ে আনা হবে ।

and if we give man a taste of mercy from us , and then withdraw it from him , verily ! he is despairing , ungrateful .
আর অবশ ্ যই যদি আমি মানুষকে আমার রহমতের আস ্ বাদ গ ্ রহণ করতে দেই , অতঃপর তা তার থেকে ছিনিয়ে নেই ; তাহলে সে হতাশ ও কৃতঘ ্ ন হয় ।

crystal-white , of a taste delicious to those who drink ( thereof ) ,
সাদা সুস ্ বাদু পানকারীদের জন ্ য ।

so taste ( of that which ye have earned ) . no increase do we give you save of torment .
অতএব , তোমরা আস ্ বাদন কর , আমি কেবল তোমাদের শাস ্ তিই বৃদ ্ ধি করব ।

indeed when we give man a taste of our mercy , he exults in it . but if any misfortune afflicts them on account of their deeds , man is utterly ungrateful .
কিন ্ ত তারা যদি বিমুখ হয় তবে আমরা তোমাকে তো তাদের উপরে একজন রক ্ ষাকারীরূপে পাঠাই নি । তোমার উপরে তো শুধু বাণী পৌঁছে দেওয়া । আর অবশ ্ য আমরা যখন মানুষকে আমাদের কাছ একে করুণা আস ্ বাদন করাই তখন সে এতে আনন ্ দ করে , কিন ্ ত তাদের হাত যা আগবাড়িয়েছে সেজন ্ য যদি কোনো মন ্ দ তাদের আঘাত করে , তবে মানুষ নিশ ্ চয়ই হয়ে যায় অকৃতজ ্ ঞ ।

when misfortune befalls men they pray to their lord and turn to him ; but afterwards when he has given them a taste of his benevolence a section of them begins to ascribe compeers to their lord
আর মানুষকে যখন দুঃখকষ ্ ট স ্ পর ্ শ করে তখন তারা তাদের প ্ রভুকে আহ ্ বান করে তাঁর প ্ রতি একান ্ ত মনোযোগী হয়ে , তারপর যখন তিনি তাদের তাঁর তরফ থেকে অনুগ ্ রহ আস ্ বাদন করান তখন দেখো ! তাদের মধ ্ যের একদল তাদের প ্ রভুর সঙ ্ গে অংশী দাঁড় করায় , --

if we give man a taste of mercy from ourselves , and then withdraw it from him , behold ! he is in despair and ( falls into ) blasphemy .
আর অবশ ্ যই যদি আমি মানুষকে আমার রহমতের আস ্ বাদ গ ্ রহণ করতে দেই , অতঃপর তা তার থেকে ছিনিয়ে নেই ; তাহলে সে হতাশ ও কৃতঘ ্ ন হয় ।

and of his signs is that he sends winds to herald good tidings and that he may give you a taste of his mercy , and that ships may sail at his bidding , and you may seek his bounty and give thanks to him .
আর তাঁর নিদর ্ শনগুলোর মধ ্ যে হচ ্ ছে যে তিনি বায়ুপ ্ রবাহ পাঠান সুসংবাদদাতারূপে , যেন তিনি তোমাদের আস ্ বাদন করাতে পারেন তাঁর অনুগ ্ রহ থেকে , আর যেন জাহাজগুলি বিচরণ করতে পারে তাঁর বিধানে , আর যেন তোমরা অন ্ বেষণ করতে পার তাঁর করুণাভান ্ ডার থেকে , যেন তোমরা কৃতজ ্ ঞতা জ ্ ঞাপন করতে পার ।

and when we give the people a taste of mercy after adversity has touched them , at once they conspire against our verses . say , " allah is swifter in strategy . "
আর যখন আমরা লোকদের করুণার আস ্ বাদ দিই কোনো দুঃখ-দুর ্ দশা তাদের স ্ পর ্ শ করার পরে , দেখো ! তারা আমাদের নিদর ্ শনসমূহের বিরুদ ্ ধে ষড়যন ্ ত ্ র করে । বলো -- ''আল্লাহ্ পরিকল্পনা করায় অধিকতর তৎপর।’’ নিঃসন্দেহ আমাদের দূতরা লিখে রাখে যে ষড়যন্ত্র তোমরা করো।

and if we give him a taste of prosperity , after some adversity has afflicted him , he will say , “ troubles have gone away from me . ” he becomes excited and proud .
আর যদি আমরা তাকে অনুগ ্ রহের আস ্ বাদ করাই দুঃখ-কষ ্ ট তাকে স ্ পর ্ শ করার পরে সে তখন বলেই থাকে -- ''আমার থেকে বিপদ-আপদ কেটে গেছে।’’ নিঃসন্দেহ সে উল্লসিত, অহংকারী, --

and of his signs is that he sends the winds bearing good news , to give you a taste of his mercy , and so that the ships may sail by his command , and so that you may seek of his bounty , and so that you may give thanks .
আর তাঁর নিদর ্ শনগুলোর মধ ্ যে হচ ্ ছে যে তিনি বায়ুপ ্ রবাহ পাঠান সুসংবাদদাতারূপে , যেন তিনি তোমাদের আস ্ বাদন করাতে পারেন তাঁর অনুগ ্ রহ থেকে , আর যেন জাহাজগুলি বিচরণ করতে পারে তাঁর বিধানে , আর যেন তোমরা অন ্ বেষণ করতে পার তাঁর করুণাভান ্ ডার থেকে , যেন তোমরা কৃতজ ্ ঞতা জ ্ ঞাপন করতে পার ।
