আর সতর ্ কতা অবলন ্ বন করো সেই আগুন সন ্ বন ্ ধে যা তৈরি করা হয়েছে অবিশ ্ বাসীদের জন ্ য ।

and save yourselves from the fire which is prepared for disbelievers .
আর সতর ্ কতা অবলন ্ বন করো সেই আগুন সন ্ বন ্ ধে যা তৈরি করা হয়েছে অবিশ ্ বাসীদের জন ্ য ।

and the jinn race , we had created before , from the fire of a scorching wind .
আর আমরা এর আগে জিন সৃষ ্ টি করেছি প ্ রখর আগুন দিয়ে ।

delighted at the bestowal of their lord ; and their lord has saved them from the fire .
তাদের প ্ রভু যা তাদের দিয়েছেন সেজন ্ য তারা সুখভোগ করতে থাকবে , আর তাদের প ্ রভু তাদের রক ্ ষা করবেন ভয়ংকর আগুনের শাস ্ তি থেকে ।

" but allah has been gracious to us , and has saved us from the torment of the fire .
''তবে আল্লাহ আমাদের প্রতি অনুগ্রহ করেছেন, আর আমাদের রক্ষা করেছেন তাপপীড়িত বায়ুপ্রবাহের শাস্তি থেকে।

indeed , we have faith . so forgive us our sins , and save us from the punishment of the fire . ’
''যারা বলে -- 'আমাদের প্রভু! আমরা নিশ্চয়ই ঈমান এনেছি, অতএব আমাদের অপরাধ থেকে তুমি আমাদের ত্রাণ করো, আর আগুনের যাতনা থেকে আমাদের রক্ষা করো’।

they will come out from the graves with eyes lowered , as if they were spread locusts .
তাদের চোখ অবনত অবস ্ থায় , তারা বেরিয়ে আসতে থাকবে কবর থেকে যেন তারা ছড়িয়ে পড়া পঙ ্ গপাল --

they will desire to come forth from the fire , but they shall not be able to come forth therefrom , and theirs shall be a torment lasting .
তারা চাইবে যেন সেই আগুন থেকে তারা বেরিয়ে যেতে পারে , কিন ্ তু তা থেকে তারা বেরিয়ে যাবার নয় , আর তাদের জন ্ যে রয়েছে দীর ্ ঘস ্ থায়ী শাস ্ তি ।

if the unbelievers only knew when they will be unable to shield either their faces or their backs from the fire ; when they will not be helped !
যদি কাফেররা ঐ সময়টি জানত , যখন তারা তাদের সম ্ মুখ ও পৃষ ্ ঠদেশ থেকে অগ ্ নি প ্ রতিরোধ করতে পারবে না এবং তারা সাহায ্ য প ্ রাপ ্ ত হবে না ।

enjoying the ( bliss ) which their lord hath bestowed on them , and their lord shall deliver them from the penalty of the fire .
তাদের প ্ রভু যা তাদের দিয়েছেন সেজন ্ য তারা সুখভোগ করতে থাকবে , আর তাদের প ্ রভু তাদের রক ্ ষা করবেন ভয়ংকর আগুনের শাস ্ তি থেকে ।

and of mankind are some who say : our lord ! vouchsafe unto us good in the world and good in the hereafter , and save us from the torment of the fire .
আর তাদের মধ ্ যে এমনও আছে যে বলে -- ''আমাদের প্রভু! এই দুনিয়াতে আমাদের ভালো জিনিস অর্পণ করো, এবং আখেরাতেও ভালো জিনিস, আর আমাদের রক্ষা করো আগুনের শাস্তি থেকে।’’

the only answer his nation gave was that they said : ' kill him , or burn him ! ' but allah saved him from the fire .
তখন ইব ্ রাহীমের সম ্ প ্ রদায়ের এছাড়া কোন জওয়াব ছিল না যে তারা বলল , তাকে হত ্ যা কর অথবা অগ ্ নিদগ ্ ধ কর । অতঃপর আল ্ লাহ তাকে অগ ্ নি থেকে রক ্ ষা করলেন । নিশ ্ চয় এতে বিশ ্ বাসী লোকদের জন ্ যে নিদর ্ শনাবলী রয়েছে ।

and among them there are those who say , ‘ our lord , give us good in this world and good in the hereafter , and save us from the punishment of the fire . ’
আর তাদের মধ ্ যে এমনও আছে যে বলে -- ''আমাদের প্রভু! এই দুনিয়াতে আমাদের ভালো জিনিস অর্পণ করো, এবং আখেরাতেও ভালো জিনিস, আর আমাদের রক্ষা করো আগুনের শাস্তি থেকে।’’

and among them is he who says , “ our lord , give us goodness in this world , and goodness in the hereafter , and protect us from the torment of the fire . ”
আর তাদের মধ ্ যে এমনও আছে যে বলে -- ''আমাদের প্রভু! এই দুনিয়াতে আমাদের ভালো জিনিস অর্পণ করো, এবং আখেরাতেও ভালো জিনিস, আর আমাদের রক্ষা করো আগুনের শাস্তি থেকে।’’

( abraham 's ) people had no answer except suggesting , " kill him or burn him . " but god saved him from the fire .
তখন ইব ্ রাহীমের সম ্ প ্ রদায়ের এছাড়া কোন জওয়াব ছিল না যে তারা বলল , তাকে হত ্ যা কর অথবা অগ ্ নিদগ ্ ধ কর । অতঃপর আল ্ লাহ তাকে অগ ্ নি থেকে রক ্ ষা করলেন । নিশ ্ চয় এতে বিশ ্ বাসী লোকদের জন ্ যে নিদর ্ শনাবলী রয়েছে ।

and he said ( after his rescue from the fire ) : " verily , i am going to my lord . he will guide me ! "
আর তিনি বললেন -- ''আমি নিশ্চয়ই আমার প্রভুর দিকে যাত্রাকারী, তিনি আমাকে অচিরেই পরিচালিত করবেন।’’

so his people could not answer him except to say , “ kill him or burn him ” – so allah rescued him from the fire ; indeed in this are signs for people who believe .
সেজন ্ য তাঁর লোকদের জবাব এ ভিন ্ ন আর কিছু ছিল না যে তারা বলল -- ''তাকে কাতল কর অথবা তাকে পুড়িয়ে ফেল।’’ কিন্তু আল্লাহ্ তাঁকে উদ্ধার করলেন আগুন থেকে। নিঃসন্দেহ এতে তো এক নিদর্শন রয়েছে সেই লোকদের জন্য যারা বিশ্বাস করে।

( namely ) , those who say : " our lord ! we have indeed believed : forgive us , then , our sins , and save us from the agony of the fire ; " -
''যারা বলে -- 'আমাদের প্রভু! আমরা নিশ্চয়ই ঈমান এনেছি, অতএব আমাদের অপরাধ থেকে তুমি আমাদের ত্রাণ করো, আর আগুনের যাতনা থেকে আমাদের রক্ষা করো’।
