သင်သည်မယားရှိလျှင် လွတ်စေခြင်းငှါ မကြံစည်နှင့်။ မယားနှင့်လွတ်လျှင် အခြားသောမယားကို မရှာနှင့်။

study to shew thyself approved unto god, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
သင်မူကား၊ ဝန်ခံတော်မူသောသူ၊ ရှက်ကြောက် စရာအကြောင်းမရှိဘဲ၊ သမ္မာတရားကို မှန်ကန်စွာ ပိုင်းခြားတတ်သော ဆရာသမားဖြစ်လျက်၊ ဘုရားသခင်ရှေ့၌ ကိုယ်ကိုကိုယ်ဆက်သခြင်းငှါ ကြိုးစား အားထုတ် လော့။

ပညာသည် ပတ္တမြားထက်သာ၍ အဘိုးထိုက် ပေ၏။ နှစ်သက်ဘွယ်သမျှသော အရာတို့သည် ထိုရတနာကို မပြိုင်နိုင်ကြ။

for godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
အဘယ်သို့နည်းဟူမူကား၊ ဘုရားသခင်၏ အလိုတော်နှင့်ညီသော ဝမ်းနည်းခြင်းသည် ကယ်တင် ခြင်းနှင့်ယှဉ်သောနောင်တစိတ် တည်းဟူသော၊ မပြောင်းလဲနိုင်သောနောင်တစိတ်ကို ပြုပြင်တတ်၏။ လောကီ ဝမ်းနည်းခြင်းမူကား၊ သေခြင်းကိုပြုပြင်တတ်၏။

ထိုသူသည် ကြွေးဆပ်ရန်မရှိသောကြောင့်၊ ကိုယ်မှစ၍ သားမယားဥစ္စာရှိသမျှတို့ကိုရောင်း၍ ကြွေးကို ဆပ်စေဟု သူ၏သခင်စီရင်၏။

ပေါလုကလည်း၊ အဘယ်ကြောင့် ငိုကြွေးလျက် ငါ့စိတ်နှလုံးကို ကြေကွဲစေလျက် ပြုကြသနည်း။ သခင်ယေရှု၏ နာမတော်ကြောင့် ယေရုရှလင်မြို့၌ ချည်နှောင်ခြင်းမက၊ အသေသတ်ခြင်းကိုပင် ခံခြင်းငှါ ငါအသင့်ရှိသည်ဟုဆို၏။

ဆင်းရဲသားတစုံတယောက်သည် တရားကို မသိ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ ပညတ်တော်ကို လွန်ကျူးပြစ် မှား၍၊ မပြုအပ်သော အမှုကို ပြုမိသဖြင့် အပြစ်ရောက်လျှင်၊-

အာဗြဟံကိုလည်း အဘိမလက်ခေါ်၍၊ သင် သည် ငါတို့၌ အဘယ်သို့ ပြုသနည်း။ သင့်ကိုငါတို့သည် အဘယ်သို့ပြစ်မှားသောကြောင့်၊ သင်သည် ငါ၌၎င်း ငါ့နိုင်ငံ၌၎င်း၊ ကြီးစွာသော အပြစ်ကိုရောက်စေသနည်း။ သင်သည် မပြုအပ်သောအမှုကို ငါ၌ပြုပါသည်တကားဟု ဆိုလေ၏။

and gedaliah sware to them, and to their men, and said unto them, fear not to be the servants of the chaldees: dwell in the land, and serve the king of babylon; and it shall be well with you.
