ငါတို့၏ဝိညာဉ်သည် ထာဝရဘုရားကို မြော်လင့် လျက်နေ၏။ ထိုဘုရားသည် ငါတို့ကို မစသောသူ၊ ကွယ် ကာသောသူဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။

the hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.
သူငှါးသည် သူငှါးဖြစ်၍ သိုးတို့၏အကျိုးကို မမှတ်သောကြောင့် ထွက်ပြေးတတ်၏။

and also of the son of the bondwoman will i make a nation, because he is thy seed.
ကျွန်မ၏သားသည် သင်၏အမျိုးဖြစ်သောကြောင့်၊ သူ့ကိုလည်း လူမျိုးဖြစ်စေမည်ဟု အာဗြံဟံအား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

rob not the poor, because he is poor: neither oppress the afflicted in the gate:
ဆင်းရဲသောသူ၏ဆင်းရဲကိုထောက်၍၊ သူ၏ ဥစ္စာကို မလုမယူနှင့်။ ဒုက္ခိတသတ္တဝါကို မြို့တံခါးဝ၌ မညှဉ်းဆဲနှင့်။

and the hare, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
အာရနဘက်သည် စားမြုံ့ပြန်သော်လည်း ခွါမကွဲပြားသောကြောင့် သင်တို့၌ မစင်ကြယ်။

ရှာဖန်သည် စားမြုံ့ပြန်သော်လည်း၊ ခွါမကွဲပြားသောကြောင့် သင်တို့၌ မစင်ကြယ်။

ငါသည် ထာဝရဘုရားကို အစဉ်မပြတ် မျက် မှောက်ပြု၏။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ငါလက်ျာဘက်၌ တည်ရှိတော်မူသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ ငါသည်လှုပ်ရှားခြင်း မရှိရ။ ထိုကြောင့် ငါ့စိတ်နှလုံးသည် သာယာခြင်း၊

herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
ထိုသို့ငါတို့သည် ချစ်ခြင်းမေတ္တာနှင့် ပြည့်စုံသောအားဖြင့်၊ တရားဆုံးဖြတ်တော်မူသောနေ့၌ ရဲရင့် ရသော အခွင့်ရှိကြလိမ့်မည်။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ငါတို့သည် ကိုယ်တော်၏နည်းတူ ဤလောက၌ဖြစ်ကြ၏။

for he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
အဘယ်သို့နည်းဟူမူကား၊ ထိုသခင်သည် ငါတို့ ရန်ငြိမ်းခြင်းအကြောင်း ဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။

and it shall be, if he say unto thee, i will not go away from thee; because he loveth thee and thine house, because he is well with thee;
သို့ရာတွင် ကျွန်က၊ ကျွန်တော်သည် မထွက် မသွားလိုပါ။ ကိုယ်တော်နှင့် ကိုယ်တော် အိမ်သူအိမ်သား တို့ကို ချစ်ပါ၏။ နေ၍ပျော်ပါ၏ ဟုဆိုလျှင်၊

nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.
သို့မဟုတ်၊ ဖြောင့်မတ်သော သူသည်ဒုစရိုက်ကို မပြုမည်အကြောင်း၊ သည်သည်သတိပေး၍ သူသည် ဒုစရိုက်ကို မပြုဘဲနေလျှင်၊ သတိပေးသောကျေးဇူး ကြောင့် စင်စစ်အသက်ချမ်းသာလိမ့်မည်။ သင်သည် လည်း၊ ကိုယ်အသက်ဝိညာဉ်ကို ကယ်နှုတ်လေပြီဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

and they answered, thy servant our father is in good health, he is yet alive. and they bowed down their heads, and made obeisance.
သူတို့က၊ ကိုယ်တော်ကျွန်၊ ကျွန်တော်တို့အဘ သည် ကျန်းမာပါ၏၊ အသက်ရှင်ပါသေး၏ဟု လျှောက် လျက်၊ ဦးညွှတ်ချ၍ ရှိခိုးလျက်နေကြ ၏။

doubtless thou art our father, though abraham be ignorant of us, and israel acknowledge us not: thou, o lord, art our father, our redeemer; thy name is from everlasting.
အာဗြဟံသည် အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ကိုမသိ၊ ဣသရေလသည် လက်မခံသော်လည်း၊ အကယ်စင်စစ်ကိုယ်တော် သည် အကျွန်ုပ်တို့အဘဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။ အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော် သည် အကျွန်ုပ်တို့အဘဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။ ရှေးကာလမှစ၍ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ကို ရွေးနှုတ်သော ဘုရားဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။

yea also, because he transgresseth by wine, he is a proud man, neither keepeth at home, who enlargeth his desire as hell, and is as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all people:
ထိုမှတပါး၊ စပျစ်ရည်နှင့်ပျော်မွေ့သော သူသည် သစ္စာပျက်တတ်၏။ မာနထောင်လွှားသောသူသည် ကိုယ် နေရာ၌မနေနိုင်ဘဲ၊ မိမိလောဘကို မရဏာနိုင်ငံကဲ့သို့ ကျယ်စေလျက်၊ သေမင်းကဲ့သို့ မပြေနိုင်သော စိတ်ရှိ လျက်၊ တိုင်းသူနိုင်ငံသား အမျိုးမျိုးအပေါင်းတို့ကို မိမိထံ သို့ ဆွဲငင်၍ စုဝေးစေ၏။

nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: as the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
သို့သော်လည်း၊ စားမြုံ့ပြန်သောသား၊ ခွါကွဲပြားသော သားတို့တွင် မစားရသော သားဟူမူကား၊ ကုလားအုပ်သည် စားမြုံ့ပြန်သော်လည်း ခွါမကွဲပြားသောကြောင့် သင်တို့၌ မစင်ကြယ်။

and ye are risen up against my father's house this day, and have slain his sons, threescore and ten persons, upon one stone, and have made abimelech, the son of his maidservant, king over the men of shechem, because he is your brother;)
သင်တို့သည် ငါ့အဘ၏အဆွေအမျိုးတဘက်၌ ယနေ့ထ၍ သူ၏သားခုနစ်ဆယ်တို့ကို ကျောက်တခု ပေါ်မှာ သတ်ပြီးလျှင်၊ သူ၏ကျွန်မတွင် မြင်သော သားအဘိမလက်သည် သင်တို့ညီအစ်ကိုဖြစ်သော ကြောင့်၊ သူ့ကို ရှေခင်မြို့သားတို့၏ ရှင်ဘုရင်ခန့်ထားကြပြီတကား။

and the lord drave out from before us all the people, even the amorites which dwelt in the land: therefore will we also serve the lord; for he is our god.
ထာဝရဘုရားသည်လည်း၊ ဤပြည်၌ နေသော သူ အာမောရိလူအပေါင်းတို့ကို ငါတို့ရှေ့မှ နှင်ထုတ်တော် မူပြီ။ ထာဝရဘုရားအား ဝတ်ပြုပါမည်။ ထိုဘုရားသည် ငါတို့ဘုရားသခင် ဖြစ်တော်မူသည်ဟု ပြန်ပြောကြ၏။

and they sang together by course in praising and giving thanks unto the lord; because he is good, for his mercy endureth for ever toward israel. and all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the lord, because the foundation of the house of the lord was laid.
ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ကောင်းမြတ်တော်မူ၏။ ဣသရေလအမျိုး၌ ပြတော်မူသော ကရုဏာတော် အစဉ်အမြဲ တည်ပါသည်ဟူ၍ ဂုဏ်တော်ကို ချီးမွမ်းလျက်၊ ကျေးဇူတော်ကို ဝန်ခံလျက်၊ အသံပြိုင်၍ အလှည့်လှည့်သီ ချင်းဆိုကြ၏။ ဗိမာန်တော်တိုက်မြစ်ကို ချရသောကြောင့်၊ လူအပေါင်းတို့သည် ထာဝရဘုရား၏ဂုဏ်တော်ကို ချီးမွမ်းလျက်၊ ကြီးသောအသံနှင့် ကြွေးကြော်ကြ၏။

and his mother's brethren spake of him in the ears of all the men of shechem all these words: and their hearts inclined to follow abimelech; for they said, he is our brother.
ထိုစကားကို ဦးရီးတို့သည် ရှေခင်မြို့သားတို့အား အကုန်အစင်ပြန်ပြော၍၊ သူတို့က၊ အဘိမလက်သည် ငါတို့ညီအစ်ကိုဖြစ်သည်ဟုဆိုလျှက် သူ့နောက်သို့ လိုက်ချင်သော စိတ်နူးညွတ်သဖြင့်၊

but we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of judah, and in the streets of jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil.
ငါတို့မှစ၍ ငါတို့ဘိုးဘေး၊ ရှင်ဘုရင်၊ မှူးမတ် တို့သည် ယုဒမြို့များ၊ ယေရုရှလင်လမ်းများ၌ ပြုဘူး သကဲ့သို့၊ ကောင်းကင်မိဖုရားအဘို့ နံ့သာပေါင်းကို မီးရှို့၍၊ သွန်းလောင်းရာ ပူဇော်သက္ကာကိုပြုခြင်းငှါ၊ ကိုယ် အလိုအလျောက် စီရင်သည်အတိုင်း ဆက်ဆက်ပြုမည်။ အထက်က ဝစွာစားရကြ၏။ ဘေးနှင့်လွတ်၍ ချမ်းသာ စွာ နေရကြ၏။
