this i recall to my mind, therefore have i hope.
ထိုသို့အကျွန်ုပ်၏ စိတ်နှလုံးသည် ဆင်ခြင်၍ သတိရသောအခါ မြော်လင့်စရာအခွင့်ရှိပါ၏။

but be not thou far from me, o lord: o my strength, haste thee to help me.
အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ အကျွန်ုပ်နှင့်ဝေးဝေးနေတော် မမူပါနှင့်။ အကျွန်ုပ်ခွန်အားဗလ၊ အကျွန်ုပ်ကို မစခြင်းငှါ အလျင်အမြန် ကြွလာတော်မူပါ။

but be shod with sandals; and not put on two coats.
ခြေနင်းကို စီးကြလော့။ အင်္ကျီနှစ်ထပ်မဝတ်ကြနှင့်ဟု မှာထားတော်မူ၏။

and he said unto him, i will not go; but i will depart to mine own land, and to my kindred.
ဟောဗပ်က ငါမလိုက်မသွားပါ၊ ငါ့နေရင်းပြည်၊ ငါ့အဆွေအမျိုးရှိရာ သို့ ပြန်သွားပါမည်ဟု မောရှေအား ဆို၏။

and the servant of the lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,

and abraham said, because i thought, surely the fear of god is not in this place; and they will slay me for my wife's sake.

let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
