ကောင်းသောဥာဏ်ရှိသောသူသည် မျက်နှာ ရတတ်၏။ ပြစ်မှားသော သူတို့လမ်းမူကား၊ ခက်သော လမ်းဖြစ်၏။

forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding.
မိုက်သောသူကို ရှောင်၍ အသက်ချမ်း သာရ လော့။ ပညာလမ်းသို့လိုက်လော့ဟုဆိုသတည်း။

enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men.
အဓမ္မလူတို့ လမ်းထဲသို့မဝင်နှင့်။ ဆိုးယုတ် သောသူတို့နှင့်အတူ မလိုက်နှင့်။

i have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have i laid before me.
သစ္စာလမ်းကို အကျွန်ုပ်ရွေးပါပြီ။ စီရင်တော် မူချက်တို့ကို အကျွန်ုပ်ရှေ့မှာ ထားပါပြီ။

ယခုမှာ သင်သည် ရှိဟောရမြစ်ရေကို သောက် အံ့သောငှါ၊ အဲဂုတ္တုလမ်းသို့ အဘယ်ကြောင့် လိုက် သနည်း။ ဥဖရတ်မြစ်ရေကို သောက်အံ့သောငှါ၊ အာရှုရိ လမ်းသို့ အဘယ်ကြောင့် လိုက်သနည်း။

then brought he me out of the way of the gate northward, and led me about the way without unto the utter gate by the way that looketh eastward; and, behold, there ran out waters on the right side.
တဖန် မြောက်တံခါးလမ်းဖြင့် ငါ့ကိုထုတ်၍ ပြင်၌ဝိုင်းသွားလျက်၊ အရှေ့သို့ မျက်နှာပြုသော ပြင်တံခါး လမ်းဝသို့ ရောက်သောအခါ၊ လက်ျာဘက်မှစီးသော ရေကို ငါမြင်၏။
