ထာဝရဘုရားသည် သန့်ရှင်းသော ပြည်၌ မိမိ အဘို့ ယုဒပြည်ကို အမွေခံ၍ တဖန် ယေရုရှလင်မြို့ကို ရွေးချယ်တော်မူလိမ့်မည်။

then isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the lord blessed him.
ထိုပြည်၌ ဣဇာက်သည် မျိုးစေ့ကိုကြဲ၍၊ တနှစ် ခြင်းတွင် အဆတရာသော အသီးအနှံကို ရလေ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရားသည်လည်း၊ ကောင်းကြီးပေးတော်မူသဖြင့်၊

and he said unto him, i will not go; but i will depart to mine own land, and to my kindred.
ဟောဗပ်က ငါမလိုက်မသွားပါ၊ ငါ့နေရင်းပြည်၊ ငါ့အဆွေအမျိုးရှိရာ သို့ ပြန်သွားပါမည်ဟု မောရှေအား ဆို၏။

and it came to pass through the lightness of her whoredom, that she defiled the land, and committed adultery with stones and with stocks.
သူသည် မတရားသော မေထုန်ကိုပြု၍ အလွန် လော်လည်သောအားဖြင့် ပြည်ကို ညစ်ညူးစေ၍၊ ကျောက် နှင့်၎င်း၊ သစ်တုံးနှင့်၎င်း မှားယွင်းလေ၏။

ထာဝရဘုရား၏အခွင့်မရှိဘဲ ဤပြည်ကိုဖျက်ဆီးခြင်းငှါ ငါလာသလော။ ထိုပြည်ကို သွား၍ ဖျက်ဆီးလော့ဟု ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ငါ့အားမိန့်တော်မူပြီ။ ဤအကြောင်းအရာများကိုပြန်ပြောကြလော့ဟု ပြောဆို၏။

and david built there an altar unto the lord, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. so the lord was intreated for the land, and the plague was stayed from israel.
ထိုအရပ်၌ ထာဝရဘုရားအဘို့ ယဇ်ပလ္လင်ကို တည်၍ မီးရှို့ရာယဇ်၊ မိဿဟာယယဇ်တို့ကို ပူဇော် လေ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရားသည်လည်း၊ ဣသရေလပြည်အဘို့ ဆုတောင်းသောစကားကို နားထောင်၍ ကာလနာ ဘေးကို ငြိမ်းစေတော်မူ၏။

and god spake on this wise, that his seed should sojourn in a strange land; and that they should bring them into bondage, and entreat them evil four hundred years.
သင်၏အမျိုးအနွယ်သည် သူတပါးပိုင်သော ပြည်၌ဧည့်သည် ဖြစ်ကြသဖြင့်၊ သူတပါးတို့၌ ကျွန်ခံခြင်း၊ နှိပ်စက်ညှဉ်းဆဲခြင်းကို အနှစ် လေးရာပတ်လုံး ခံရကြ လိမ့်မည်။

and i brought you into a plentiful country, to eat the fruit thereof and the goodness thereof; but when ye entered, ye defiled my land, and made mine heritage an abomination.
ဝပြောသော ပြည်၏အသီးအနှံဆီဥဆီကြည်ကို စားစေခြင်းငှါ သင်တို့ကို ငါဆောင်သွင်း၍၊ သင်တို့သည် ဝင်စားသောအခါ၊ ငါ့ပြည်ကို ညစ်ညူးစေ၍၊ ငါ၏အမွေ ကို ရွံရှာဘွယ်ဖြစ်စေကြသည်တကား။

and i will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country.
အတိုင်းတိုင်းအပြည်ပြည်တို့က ခေါ်ခဲ့၍ စုဝေး စေပြီးလျှင်၊ သူတို့ နေရင်းပြည်သို့ ပို့ဆောင်မည်။ ဣသ ရေလတောင်တို့အပေါ်၊ မြစ်တို့အနား အစရှိသော နေစရာ အရပ်ရပ်တို့၌ ကျွေးမွေးမည်။

and at this house, which is high, every one that passeth by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss; and they shall say, why hath the lord done thus unto this land, and to this house?
အရပ်မြင့်သော ဤအိမ်တော်ကိုလည်း လမ်း၌ ရှောက်သွားသော သူအပေါင်းတို့သည် အံ့ဩ၍၊ ထာဝရ ဘုရားသည် ဤပြည်နှင့်ဤအိမ်ကို အဘယ်ကြောင့် ဤသို့ပြုတော်မူသနည်းဟု ကဲ့ရဲ့သံကိုပြုလျက် တယောက် မေးမြန်းသော်၊
