came there not unto you messengers of your own who recounted unto you my tokens and warned you of the meeting of this your day?
zar vam nisu dolazili poslanici između vas, kazivali vam znakove moje i upozoravali vas susretom ovog dana vašeg?

as you forgot the meeting of this your day of doom, so have we forgotten you. now taste the everlasting punishment for your deeds.
pa trpite zato što ste zaboravljali da ćete ovaj dan doživjeti – i mi ćemo vas zaboraviti – i vječnu patnju trpite zbog onoga što ste radili.

so taste (the evil of your deeds). forasmuch as ye forgot the meeting of this your day, lo!

o ye assembly of the jinn and humankind! came there not unto you messengers of your own who recounted unto you my tokens and warned you of the meeting of this your day?
"o skupe džinski i ljudski, zar vam iz redova vas samih poslanici nisu dolazili koji su vam ajete moje kazivali i upozoravali vas da ćete ovaj vaš dan dočekati?"

'company of jinn and mankind, did not messengers come to you from among you, relating to you my signs and warning you of the encounter of this your day?'
"o skupe džinski i ljudski, zar vam iz redova vas samih poslanici nisu dolazili koji su vam ajete moje kazivali i upozoravali vas da ćete ovaj vaš dan dočekati?"

and it will be said: this day we forget you, even as ye forgot the meeting of this your day; and your habitation is the fire, and there is none to help you.
i biće rečeno: "danas vas zaboravljamo, kao što ste zaboravili na susret dana vašeg ovog. a sklonište vaše je vatra i nema za vas nikakvih pomagača."

and allah has made for you from your homes a place of rest and made for you from the hides of the animals tents which you find light on your day of travel and your day of encampment; and from their wool, fur and hair is furnishing and enjoyment for a time.
allah vam daje da u kućama svojim stanujete i daje vam od koža stoke šatore koje lahko nosite kad na put idete i kad konačite, a od vune njihove i dlake njihove i kostrijeti njihove prostirku i korisne stvari, sve dok se ne istroše.

and it shall be said, 'today we do forget you, even as you forgot the encounter of this your day; and your refuge is the fire, and you shall have no helpers.
i biće rečeno: "danas vas zaboravljamo, kao što ste zaboravili na susret dana vašeg ovog. a sklonište vaše je vatra i nema za vas nikakvih pomagača."

(then allah will also ask them): 'o assembly of jinn and men! did there not come to y ou messengers from among yourselves, relating to you my signs, and warning you of the encounter of this your day (of judgement)?'
"o skupe džinski i ljudski, zar vam iz redova vas samih poslanici nisu dolazili koji su vam ajete moje kazivali i upozoravali vas da ćete ovaj vaš dan dočekati?"
