Ես որպէս լոյս եկայ աշխարհ, որպէսզի ամէն ոք, որ ինձ հաւատում է, խաւարում չմնայ:

and entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted.
Եւ ներս, գերեզման մտնելով՝ տեսան մի երիտասարդի, որ նստած էր աջ կողմը՝ սպիտակ պատմուճան հագած. եւ զարհուրեցին:

and jesus said, let her alone; why trouble ye her? she hath wrought a good work on me.
Եւ Յիսուս նրանց ասաց. «Թո՛յլ տուէք դրան. ինչո՞ւ էք նեղութիւն տալիս, որովհետեւ նա ինձ համար մի բարի գործ արեց:

verily, verily, i say unto you, he that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
Ճշմարիտ, ճշմարիտ եմ ասում ձեզ, որ, ով հաւատում է, ունենում է յաւիտենական կեանքը:

and abraham ran unto the herd, and fetcht a calf tender and good, and gave it unto a young man; and he hasted to dress it.
Աբրահամը գնաց դէպի նախիր, վերցրեց մի մատղաշ, լաւ հորթ, տուեց ծառային ու շտապեցրեց, որ կերակուր պատրաստի:

and many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, thou son of david, have mercy on me.
Եւ շատերը նրան սաստում էին, որ լռի, իսկ նա առաւել եւս աղաղակում էր. «Դաւթի՛ Որդի, ողորմի՛ր ինձ»:

and, behold, a woman of canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, have mercy on me, o lord, thou son of david; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.
Եւ ահա, այդ շրջաններից եկած քանանացի մի կին աղաղակում էր ու ասում. «Ողորմի՛ր ինձ, Տէ՛ր, Դաւթի՛ Որդի, աղջիկս չարաչար դիւահարւում է»:

and he said unto him, take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.
Աստուած ասաց նրան. «Դու ինձ համար ա՛ռ երեք տարեկան երինջ, երեք տարեկան նոխազ, երեք տարեկան խոյ, տատրակ եւ աղաւնի»:

and when he heard that it was jesus of nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, jesus, thou son of david, have mercy on me.
Երբ լսեց, թէ անցնողը Յիսուս Նազովրեցին է, սկսեց աղաղակել եւ ասել. «Դաւթի՛ Որդի, Յիսո՛ւս, ողորմի՛ր ինձ»:

and jesus said unto them, i am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
Յիսուս նրանց ասաց. «Ես եմ կենաց հացը. ով դէպի ինձ գայ, քաղց չի զգայ, եւ ով ինձ հաւատայ, երբեք չի ծարաւի:

and lamech said unto his wives, adah and zillah, hear my voice; ye wives of lamech, hearken unto my speech: for i have slain a man to my wounding, and a young man to my hurt.
Ղամէքն ասաց իր կանանց՝ Ադդային ու Սէլլային. «Լսեցէ՛ք իմ խօսքը, Ղամէքի կանայք, ակա՛նջ դրէք իմ ասածին: Ես մի երիտասարդ մարդ սպանեցի, որովհետեւ նա ինձ վիրաւորել եւ հարուածել էր:

but think on me when it shall be well with thee, and shew kindness, i pray thee, unto me, and make mention of me unto pharaoh, and bring me out of this house:
Իսկ երբ գործդ յաջող ընթանայ, դու յիշի՛ր ինձ, ողորմած եղի՛ր իմ հանդէպ, յիշի՛ր ինձ փարաւոնի առաջ

and he cried and said, father abraham, have mercy on me, and send lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for i am tormented in this flame.
Եւ նա աղաղակեց ու ասաց. «Հա՛յր Աբրահամ, ողորմի՛ր ինձ եւ ուղարկի՛ր Ղազարոսին, որ իր մատի ծայրը թրջի ջրով եւ զովացնի լեզուս, որովհետեւ այս տապից պապակում եմ»:
