Նրան ասացին. «Տէ՛ր, ամէն ժամ տո՛ւր մեզ այդ հացը»:

and moses said, thou must give us also sacrifices and burnt offerings, that we may sacrifice unto the lord our god.
Մովսէսն ասաց. «Ողջակիզութեան ու զոհաբերութեան անասուններ դու ի՛նքդ մեզ պիտի տաս, որ մատուցենք մեր տէր Աստծուն:

philip saith unto him, lord, shew us the father, and it sufficeth us.
Փիլիպպոսն ասաց նրան. «Տէ՛ր, Հօրը մեզ ցո՛յց տուր, եւ այդ բաւական է մեզ»:

and he sent peter and john, saying, go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat.
Եւ նա ուղարկեց Պետրոսին եւ Յովհաննէսին ու ասաց. «Գնացէ՛ք, պատրաստեցէ՛ք մեզ համար Պասեքի ընթրիքը, որ ուտենք»:

the jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, how can this man give us his flesh to eat?
Հրեաները իրար հետ բուռն կերպով վիճում էին եւ ասում. «Սա ինչպէ՞ս կարող է իր մարմինը մեզ տալ՝ ուտելու»:

and hamor communed with them, saying, the soul of my son shechem longeth for your daughter: i pray you give her him to wife.
Եմորը նրանց դիմելով՝ ասաց. «Իմ որդի Սիւքեմը ամբողջ հոգով սիրել է ձեր դստերը: Արդ, աղջկան տուէ՛ք նրան կնութեան եւ խնամութիւն արէ՛ք մեզ հետ.

and they said one to another, did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?
Եւ նրանք ասացին միմեանց. «Մեր սրտերն էլ միթէ չէի՞ն ճմլւում մեր մէջ, մինչ նա ճանապարհին խօսում էր մեզ հետ. եւ ինչպէ՜ս էր մեզ բացատրում Գրքերը»:

then jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.
Այն ժամանակ Յիսուս արձակելով ժողովրդին՝ տուն եկաւ. աշակերտները մօտեցան նրան ու ասացին. «Մեկնի՛ր մեզ համար արտի որոմների առակը»:

and when money failed in the land of egypt, and in the land of canaan, all the egyptians came unto joseph, and said, give us bread: for why should we die in thy presence? for the money faileth.
Արծաթն սպառուեց Եգիպտացիների երկրից ու Քանանացիների երկրից: Բոլոր եգիպտացիները եկան Յովսէփի մօտ ու ասացին. «Մեզ հա՛ց տուր. ինչո՞ւ մեռնենք քո աչքի առաջ, քանի որ արծաթը վերջացաւ»:

jesus saith unto him, have i been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the father; and how sayest thou then, shew us the father?
Յիսուս նրան ասաց. «Այսքան ժամանակ ձեզ հետ եմ, Փիլիպպո՛ս, եւ ինձ չճանաչեցի՞ր. ով ինձ տեսաւ, տեսաւ Հօրը. իսկ դու ինչպէ՞ս ես ասում, թէ՝ Հօրը մեզ ցո՛յց տուր:

wherefore shall we die before thine eyes, both we and our land? buy us and our land for bread, and we and our land will be servants unto pharaoh: and give us seed, that we may live, and not die, that the land be not desolate.
Արդ, որպէսզի քո աչքի առաջ սովամահ չլինենք, եւ երկիրն էլ չկործանուի, ստացի՛ր մեզ եւ մեր հողը հացի փոխարէն. մենք ու մեր հողը թող լինենք փարաւոնի սեփականութիւն: Սերմացու տո՛ւր, որ ցանենք, ապրենք ու չմեռնենք, եւ երկիրն էլ չկործանուի»:
