and joseph knew his brethren, but they knew not him.
Յովսէփը ճանաչեց իր եղբայրներին, բայց նրանք չճանաչեցին իրեն:

Վախճանուեց Յովսէփը. նաեւ նրա բոլոր եղբայրներն ու ամբողջ սերունդը:

Յովսէփը երրորդ օրն ասաց նրանց. «Այսպէս արէք, որպէսզի փրկուէք. ես ինքս էլ աստուածավախ մարդ եմ:

and pharaoh spake unto joseph, saying, thy father and thy brethren are come unto thee:
Փարաւոնը, դիմելով Յովսէփին, ասաց. «Քո հայրն ու քո եղբայրները եկել են քեզ մօտ:

Մատթանը ծնեց Յակոբին. Յակոբը ծնեց Յովսէփին՝ Մարիամի մարդուն, որի նշանածն էր կոյս Մարիամը, որից ծնուեց Յիսուս, որ անուանուեց Քրիստոս:

and israel said unto joseph, now let me die, since i have seen thy face, because thou art yet alive.
Իսրայէլն ասաց Յովսէփին. «Այսուհետեւ կարող եմ մեռնել, որովհետեւ տեսայ քո երեսը, եւ դու տակաւին կենդանի ես»:

and all countries came into egypt to joseph for to buy corn; because that the famine was so sore in all lands.
Եւ բոլոր երկրներից գալիս էին Եգիպտոս՝ Յովսէփից հաց գնելու, որովհետեւ սովը սաստկանում էր ամբողջ աշխարհում:

and he put them in ward in the house of the captain of the guard, into the prison, the place where joseph was bound.
նրանց բանտ նետեց դահճապետի մօտ, այն բանտը, ուր Յովսէփն էր արգելափակուած:

and israel said unto joseph, i had not thought to see thy face: and, lo, god hath shewed me also thy seed.
Իսրայէլն ասաց Յովսէփին. «Ահա ոչ միայն կարօտս առայ քեզնից, այլեւ Աստուած ինձ ցոյց տուեց նաեւ քո զաւակներին»:

and joseph said unto his father, not so, my father: for this is the firstborn; put thy right hand upon his head.
Յովսէփն ասաց իր հօրը. «Կարգն այդպէս չէ, հա՛յր, որովհետեւ սա է անդրանիկը: Քո աջը դիր սրա՛ գլխին»:

and he blessed joseph, and said, god, before whom my fathers abraham and isaac did walk, the god which fed me all my life long unto this day,
Օրհնեց նրանց եւ ասաց. «Աստուած, որին հաճոյ եղան իմ նախնիները՝ Աբրահամն ու Իսահակը, Աստուած, որ պահպանեց ինձ իմ մանկութիւնից մինչեւ այսօր,

and it came to pass, when rachel had born joseph, that jacob said unto laban, send me away, that i may go unto mine own place, and to my country.
Երբ Ռաքէլը ծնեց Յովսէփին, Յակոբն ասաց Լաբանին. «Ինձ թո՛յլ տուր, որ գնամ իմ բնակավայրն ու իմ երկիրը:
