and take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
«Զգո՛յշ եղէք ինքներդ ձեզնից. գուցէ ձեր սրտերը ծանրանան զեխութեամբ եւ հարբեցողութեամբ ու աշխարհիկ հոգսերով. եւ յանկարծակի հասնի ձեր վրայ այն օրը.

no man hath seen god at any time; the only begotten son, which is in the bosom of the father, he hath declared him.
Աստծուն ոչ ոք երբեք չի տեսել, բացի միայն միածին Որդուց, որ Հօր ծոցում է. նա՛ յայտնեց Նրան:

and the father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.
Եւ Հայրը, որ ինձ ուղարկեց, նա՛ է վկայել իմ մասին. դուք ո՛չ նրա ձայնն էք երբեւէ լսել եւ ո՛չ էլ նրա երեսն էք տեսել:

agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.
Եթէ մէկը քեզ հետ խնդիր ունի եւ քեզ դատի է կանչում, մինչ նրա հետ դեռ ճանապարհին ես, եղի՛ր իրաւախոհ կանխաւ. գուցէ նա քեզ դատաւորին յանձնի, եւ դատաւորը՝ դահճին, ու դու բանտ նետուես:

and saith unto him, if thou be the son of god, cast thyself down: for it is written, he shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
«Եթէ Աստծու Որդին ես, քեզ այստեղից ցա՛ծ գցիր, որովհետեւ գրուած է՝ իր հրեշտակներին պատուիրուած է քո մասին, եւ ձեռքերի վրայ պիտի վերցնեն քեզ, որպէսզի երբեք քո ոտքը քարին չխփես»:

and he answering said to his father, lo, these many years do i serve thee, neither transgressed i at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that i might make merry with my friends:
Որդին պատասխանեց եւ ասաց հօրը. «Այս քանի՜ տարի է, որ ծառայում եմ քեզ եւ երբեք քո հրամանները զանց չեմ արել. ինձ երբեք մի ուլ չտուիր, որ բարեկամներիս հետ ուրախութիւն անէի:

for this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and i should heal them.
որովհետեւ այս ժողովրդի սիրտը կարծրացաւ, եւ իրենց ականջներով ծանր են լսում. եւ փակեցին իրենց աչքերը, որպէսզի երբեք աչքերով չտեսնեն ու ականջներով չլսեն եւ սրտով չիմանան եւ դարձի չգան, ու ես նրանց չբժշկեմ:
