divulgation de l'invention la présente invention a donc pour objet de résoudre ce problème de duplication frauduleuse avec un nouveau procédé d'affranchissement qui garantisse à l'administration postale que chaque article de courrier transmis à son destinataire a bien fait l'objet d'un paiement par son expéditeur. ce but est atteint par un procédé de fabrication d'un article de courrier, caractérise en ce qu'il comporte les étapes suivantes : a) obtention de la structure tridimensionnelle des fibres de cet article de courrier au moyen d'un dispositif de numérisation, b) détermination d'un code d'empreinte unique à partir de ladite structure fibreuse tridimensionnelle, c) génération d'un code à barres à deux dimensions comportant un numéro d'identification unique, d) création d'une base de données associant ledit numéro d'identification unique audit code d'empreinte unique, et e) impression dudit code à barres à deux dimensions sur l'article de courrier.
