and in his name shall the gentiles trust.
አሕዛብም በስሙ ተስፋ ያደርጋሉ።

we who are jews by nature, and not sinners of the gentiles,
እኛ በፍጥረት አይሁድ ነን ኃጢአተኞችም የሆኑ አሕዛብ አይደለንም፤

and again he saith, rejoice, ye gentiles, with his people.
ደግሞም። አሕዛብ ሆይ፥ ከሕዝቡ ጋር ደስ ይበላችሁ ይላል።

for this cause i paul, the prisoner of jesus christ for you gentiles,
ስለዚህም አሕዛብ ስለ ሆናችሁ ስለ እናንተ የክርስቶስ ኢየሱስ እስር የሆንሁ እኔ ጳውሎስ ለእግዚአብሔር እንበረከካለሁ።

a light to lighten the gentiles, and the glory of thy people israel.
ይህም ለአሕዛብ ሁሉን የሚገልጥ ብርሃን ለሕዝብህም ለእስራኤል ክብር ነው።

and he said unto me, depart: for i will send thee far hence unto the gentiles.
እርሱም። ሂድ፥ እኔ ወደ አሕዛብ ከዚህ ወደ ሩቅ እልክሃለሁና አለኝ።

ye know that ye were gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.
አሕዛብ ሳላችሁ በማናቸውም ጊዜ እንደምትመሩ ድምፅ ወደሌላቸው ወደ ጣዖታት እንደ ተወሰዳችሁ ታውቃላችሁ።

but the unbelieving jews stirred up the gentiles, and made their minds evil affected against the brethren.
ያላመኑት አይሁድ ግን የአሕዛብን ልብ በወንድሞች ላይ አነሣሡ አስከፉም።

give none offence, neither to the jews, nor to the gentiles, nor to the church of god:
እኔ ደግሞ ብዙዎቹ ይድኑ ዘንድ ለጥቅማቸው እንጂ የራሴን ጥቅም ሳልፈልግ በሁሉ ነገር ሰውን ሁሉ ደስ እንደማሰኝ፥ ለአይሁድም ለግሪክም ሰዎች ለእግዚአብሔር ቤተ ክርስቲያንም ማሰናከያ አትሁኑ።

simeon hath declared how god at the first did visit the gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name.
እግዚአብሔር ለስሙ የሚሆንን ወገን ከአሕዛብ ይወስድ ዘንድ አስቀድሞ እንዴት እንደ ጐበኘ ስምዖን ተርኮአል።

for i speak to you gentiles, inasmuch as i am the apostle of the gentiles, i magnify mine office:
ለእናንተም ለአሕዛብ እናገራለሁ። እኔ የአሕዛብ ሐዋርያ በሆንሁ መጠን ሥጋዬ የሆኑትን አስቀንቼ ምናልባት ከእነርሱ አንዳንዱን አድን እንደሆነ አገልግሎቴን አከብራለሁ።

who have for my life laid down their own necks: unto whom not only i give thanks, but also all the churches of the gentiles.
እነርሱም ስለ ነፍሴ ነፍሳቸውን ለሞት አቀረቡ፥ የአሕዛብም አብያተ ክርስቲያናት ሁሉ የሚያመሰግኑአቸው ናቸው እንጂ እኔ ብቻ አይደለሁም፤

then all the multitude kept silence, and gave audience to barnabas and paul, declaring what miracles and wonders god had wrought among the gentiles by them.
ሕዝቡም ሁሉ ዝም አሉ፥ በርናባስና ጳውሎስም እግዚአብሔር በእጃቸው በአሕዛብ መካከል ያደረገውን ምልክትና ድንቅ ሁሉ ሲተርኩላቸው ይሰሙ ነበር።

and shall deliver him to the gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.
ሊዘባበቱበትም ሊገርፉትም ሊሰቅሉትም ለአሕዛብ አሳልፈው ይሰጡታል፥ በሦስተኛውም ቀን ይነሣል አላቸው።

when they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified god, saying, then hath god also to the gentiles granted repentance unto life.
ይህን በሰሙ ጊዜም ዝም አሉና። እንኪያስ እግዚአብሔር ለአሕዛብ ደግሞ ለሕይወት የሚሆን ንስሐን ሰጣቸው እያሉ እግዚአብሔርን አከበሩ።

to whom god would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the gentiles; which is christ in you, the hope of glory:
ለእነርሱም እግዚአብሔር በአሕዛብ ዘንድ ያለው የዚህ ምሥጢር ክብር ባለ ጠግነት ምን እንደ ሆነ ሊያስታውቅ ወደደ፥ ምሥጢሩም የክብር ተስፋ ያለው ክርስቶስ በእናንተ ዘንድ መሆኑ ነው።

it is he who raised among the gentiles an apostle from amongst them , who recites his revelations to them , reforms them and teaches them the scripture and the law , for before him they were clearly in error .
እርሱ ያ በመሃይሞቹ ውስጥ አንቀጾቹን ( ቁርኣንን ) በእነርሱ ላይ የሚያነብላቸው ፣ ( ከማጋራት ) የሚያጠራቸውም ፣ መጽሐፍንና ጥበብን የሚያስተምራቸውም የኾነን መልክተኛ ( ሙሐመድን ) ከእነርሱው ውስጥ የላከ ነው ፡ ፡ እነርሱም ከእርሱ በፊት በግልጽ ስሕተት ውስጥ ነበሩ ፡ ፡

then said the jews among themselves, whither will he go, that we shall not find him? will he go unto the dispersed among the gentiles, and teach the gentiles?
እንግዲህ አይሁድ። እኛ እንዳናገኘው ይህ ወዴት ይሄድ ዘንድ አለው? በግሪክ ሰዎች መካከል ተበትነው ወደሚኖሩት ሊሄድና የግሪክን ሰዎች ሊያስተምር አለውን?

and i went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which i preach among the gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means i should run, or had run, in vain.
እንደ ተገለጠልኝም ወጣሁ፤ ምናልባትም በከንቱ እንዳልሮጥ ወይም በከንቱ ሮጬ እንዳልሆን በአሕዛብ መካከል የምሰብከውን ወንጌል አስታወቅኋቸው፤ ዋኖች ግን መስለው ለሚታዩ ለብቻቸው አስታወቅኋቸው።

having your conversation honest among the gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify god in the day of visitation.
ስለሚመለከቱት ስለ መልካም ሥራችሁ፥ ክፉ እንደምታደርጉ በዚያ እናንተን በሚያሙበት ነገር፥ በሚጎበኝበት ቀን እግዚአብሔርን ያከብሩት ዘንድ በአሕዛብ መካከል ኑሮአችሁ መልካም ይሁን።
