« ከምላሴም መኮላተፍን ፍታልኝ ፡ ፡

and loosen the knot from my tongue
« ከምላሴም መኮላተፍን ፍታልኝ ፡ ፡

we have decked the lower heavens with stars
እኛ ቅርቢቱን ሰማይ በከዋክብት ጌጥ አጌጥናት ፡ ፡

we have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the stars
እኛ ቅርቢቱን ሰማይ በከዋክብት ጌጥ አጌጥናት ፡ ፡

they desired to outwit him ; so we made them the lower ones .
በእርሱም ተንኮልን አሰቡ ፡ ፡ ዝቅተኞችም አደረግናቸው ፡ ፡

and verily we make them taste the lower punishment before the greater , that haply they may return .
ይመለሱ ዘንድም ከትልቁ ቅጣት በፊት ( በዚህ ዓለም ) ከትንሹ ቅጣት በእርግጥ እናቀምሳቸዋለን ፡ ፡

we have indeed decked the lower heaven with beauty ( in ) the stars , -
እኛ ቅርቢቱን ሰማይ በከዋክብት ጌጥ አጌጥናት ፡ ፡

(now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
ወደ ምድር ታችኛ ክፍል ደግሞ ወረደ ማለት ካልሆነ፥ ይህ ወጣ ማለትስ ምን ማለት ነው?

then he made them seven heavens in two days and revealed to each heaven its law . and we adorned the lower heaven with lamps , and firmly secured it .
በሁለት ቀኖችም ውስጥ ሰባት ሰማያት አደረጋቸው ፡ ፡ በሰማይቱም ሁሉ ነገሯን አዘጋጀ ፡ ፡ ቅርቢቱንም ሰማይ በመብራቶች አጌጥን ፡ ፡ ( ከሰይጣናት ) መጠበቅንም ጠበቅናት ፡ ፡ ይህ የአሸናፊው የዐዋቂው ( ጌታ ) ውሳኔ ነው ፡ ፡

and indeed we have beautified the lower heaven with lamps , and have made them weapons against the devils , and have kept prepared for them the punishment of the blazing fire .
ቅርቢቱን ሰማይም በእርግጥ በመብራቶች ( በከዋክብት ) አጌጥናት ፡ ፡ ለሰይጣናትም መቀጥቀጫዎች አደረግናት ፡ ፡ ለእነርሱም ( ለሰይጣኖች ) የእሳትን ቅጣት አዘጋጀን ፡ ፡

and the unbelievers shall say , ' our lord , show us those that led us astray , both jinn and men , and we shall set them underneath our feet , that they may be among the lower ones .
እነዚያም የካዱት ( በእሳት ውስጥ ኾነው ) « ጌታችን ሆይ ! እነዚያን ከጋኔንና ከሰው ያሳሳቱንን አሳየን ፡ ፡ ከታችኞቹ ይኾኑ ዘንድ ከጫማዎቻችን ሥር እናደርጋቸዋለንና » ይላሉ ፡ ፡

so he completed them as seven firmaments in two days , and he assigned to each heaven its duty and command . and we adorned the lower heaven with lights , and ( provided it ) with guard .
በሁለት ቀኖችም ውስጥ ሰባት ሰማያት አደረጋቸው ፡ ፡ በሰማይቱም ሁሉ ነገሯን አዘጋጀ ፡ ፡ ቅርቢቱንም ሰማይ በመብራቶች አጌጥን ፡ ፡ ( ከሰይጣናት ) መጠበቅንም ጠበቅናት ፡ ፡ ይህ የአሸናፊው የዐዋቂው ( ጌታ ) ውሳኔ ነው ፡ ፡

it is he who loosens the winds , bearing glad tidings before the hands of his mercy , and we have sent down pure water from the heaven ,
እርሱም ያ ነፋሶችን አብሳሪዎች ሲኾኑ ከዝናሙ በስተፊት የላከ ነው ፡ ፡ ከሰማይም አጥሪ ውሃን አወረድን ፡ ፡

and in two days he formed seven heavens , and revealed to each heaven its functions ; and we adorned the lower heaven with brilliant lamps [ stars ] and guarded it . that is the decree of the almighty , the all knowing .
በሁለት ቀኖችም ውስጥ ሰባት ሰማያት አደረጋቸው ፡ ፡ በሰማይቱም ሁሉ ነገሯን አዘጋጀ ፡ ፡ ቅርቢቱንም ሰማይ በመብራቶች አጌጥን ፡ ፡ ( ከሰይጣናት ) መጠበቅንም ጠበቅናት ፡ ፡ ይህ የአሸናፊው የዐዋቂው ( ጌታ ) ውሳኔ ነው ፡ ፡
