and another said, i have married a wife, and therefore i cannot come.
ሌላውም። ሚስት አግብቼአለሁ ስለዚህም ልመጣ አልችልም አለው።

are you suggesting an employee / employer relationship for the married couple?
በባለትዳሮች መካከል የተቀጣሪና/ቀጣሪ ግንኙነት ለመመስረት እየመከራችሁ ነው?

but he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife.
ያገባው ግን ሚስቱን እንዴት ደስ እንዲያሰኛት የዓለምን ነገር ያስባል፥ ልቡም ተከፍሎአል።

and unto the married i command, yet not i, but the lord, let not the wife depart from her husband:
ሚስትም ከባልዋ አትለያይ፥ ብትለያይ ግን ሳታገባ ትኑር ወይም ከባልዋ ትታረቅ፥ ባልም ሚስቱን አይተዋት ብዬ የተጋቡትን አዛቸዋለሁ፥ እኔ ግን አላዝም፥ ጌታ እንጂ።

and do not marry women your fathers married unless it is a thing of the past surely that was an indecency , hated , and a way of evil .
ከሴቶችም አባቶቻችሁ ያገቡዋቸውን አታግቡ ፡ ፡ ( ትቀጡበታላችሁ ) ፡ ፡ ያለፈው ሲቀር ፡ ፡ እርሱ መጥፎና የተጠላ ሥራ ነውና ፡ ፡ መንገድነቱም ከፋ !

allah has given as an example for the unbelievers , the wife of noah and the wife of lot . they were married to two of our righteous worshipers , but theybetrayed them .
አላህ ለእነዚያ ለካዱት ሰዎች የኑሕን ሴትና የሉጥን ሴት ምሳሌ አደረገ ፡ ፡ ከባሮቻችን ከኾኑ ሁለት መልካም ባሪያዎች ሥር ነበሩ ፡ ፡ ከዱዋቸውም ፡ ፡ ከአላህም ( ቅጣት ኑሕና ሉጥ ) ከሚስቶቻቸው ምንም አልገፈተሩላቸውም ፡ ፡ ከገቢዎቹም ጋር « እሳትን ግቡ » ተባሉ ፡ ፡

and do not marry women that your fathers married , unless it be a thing of the past ; surely that is indecent and hateful ; an evil way .
ከሴቶችም አባቶቻችሁ ያገቡዋቸውን አታግቡ ፡ ፡ ( ትቀጡበታላችሁ ) ፡ ፡ ያለፈው ሲቀር ፡ ፡ እርሱ መጥፎና የተጠላ ሥራ ነውና ፡ ፡ መንገድነቱም ከፋ !

elderly women who have no hope of getting married are allowed not to wear the kind of clothing that young woman must wear , as long as they do not show off their beauty . it is better for them if they maintain chastity .
ከሴቶችም እነዚያ ጋብቻን የማይፈልጉት ተቀማጮች ( ባልቴቶች ) ፤ በጌጥ የተገለፁ ሳይኾኑ የላይ ልብሶቻቸውን ቢጥሉ በእነሱ ላይ ኀጢአት የለባቸውም ፡ ፡ ግን መጠበቃቸው ለእነርሱ የተሻለ ነው ፡ ፡ አላህም ሰሚ ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

and marry not women whom your fathers married , - except what is past : it was shameful and odious , - an abominable custom indeed .
ከሴቶችም አባቶቻችሁ ያገቡዋቸውን አታግቡ ፡ ፡ ( ትቀጡበታላችሁ ) ፡ ፡ ያለፈው ሲቀር ፡ ፡ እርሱ መጥፎና የተጠላ ሥራ ነውና ፡ ፡ መንገድነቱም ከፋ !

if you want to take another wife in place of the one you are married to , then even if you have given her a talent of gold , do not take back a thing . would you take it away by slandering and using unjust means ?
በሚስትም ስፍራ ሚስትን ለመለወጥ ብትፈልጉ ለአንደኛይቱ ( ለምትፈታው ) ብዙን ገንዘብ የሰጣችኋት ስትኾኑ ከርሱ ምንንም አትውሰዱ ፡ ፡ በመበደልና ግልጽ በኾነ ኀጢአት ትወስዱታላችሁን

and you feared the people , while allah has more right that you fear him . so when zayd had no longer any need for her , we married her to you in order that there not be upon the believers any discomfort concerning the wives of their adopted sons when they no longer have need of them .
ለእዚያም አላህ በእርሱ ላይ ለለገሰለትና ( አንተም ነጻ በማውጣት ) በእርሱ ላይ ለለገስክለት ሰው ( ለዘይድ ) አላህ ገላጩ የሆነን ነገር በነፍስህ ውስጥ የምትደብቅና አላህ ልትፈራው ይልቅ የተገባው ሲሆን ሰዎችን የምትፈራ ሆነህ « ሚስትህን ባንተ ዘንድ ያዝ ፤ ( ከመፍታት ) አላህንም ፍራ » በምትል ጊዜ ( አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡ ዘይድም ከእርሷ ጉዳይን በፈጸመ ጊዜ በምእምናኖች ላይ ልጅ አድርገው ባስጠጉዋቸው ( ሰዎች ) ሚስቶች ከእነርሱ ጉዳይን በፈጸሙ ጊዜ ( በማግባት ) ችግር እንዳይኖርባቸው እርሷን አጋባንህ ፡ ፡ የአላህም ትእዛዝ ተፈጻሚ ነው ፡ ፡

allah's statement, وَأُحْضِرَتِ الأنفُسُ الشُّحَّ ( and human souls are swayed by greed. ) means, coming to peaceful terms, even when it involves forfeiting some rights, is better than parting. abu dawud at-tayalisi recorded that ibn `abbas said, "sawdah feared that the messenger of allah ﷺ might divorce her and she said, `o messenger of allah! do not divorce me; give my day to `a'ishah.' and he did, and later on allah sent down, وَإِنِ امْرَأَةٌ خَـفَتْ مِن بَعْلِهَا نُشُوزاً أَوْ إِعْرَاضاً فَلاَ جُنَاْحَ عَلَيْهِمَآ ( and if a woman fears cruelty or desertion on her husband's part, there is no sin on them both ) ibn `abbas said, "whatever ( legal agreement ) the spouses mutually agree to is allowed.". at-tirmidhi recorded it and said, "hasan gharib". in the two sahihs, it is recorded that `a'ishah said that when sawdah bint zam`ah became old, she forfeited her day to `a'ishah, and the prophet used to spend sawdah's night with `a'ishah. there is a similar narration also collected by al-bukhari. al-bukhari also recorded that `a'ishah commented; وَإِنِ امْرَأَةٌ خَـفَتْ مِن بَعْلِهَا نُشُوزاً أَوْ إِعْرَاضاً ( and if a woman fears cruelty or desertion on her husband's part ), that it refers to, "a man who is married to an old woman, and he does not desire her and wants to divorce her. so she says, `i forfeit my right on you.' so this ayah was revealed." meaning of "making peace is better allah said, وَالصُّلْحُ خَيْرٌ ( and making peace is better ). `ali bin abi talhah related that ibn `abbas said that the ayah refers to, "when the husband gives his wife the choice between staying with him or leaving him, as this is better than the husband preferring other wives to her." however, the apparent wording of the ayah refers to the settlement where the wife forfeits some of the rights she has over her husband, with the husband agreeing to this concession, and that this settlement is better than divorce. for instance, the prophet kept sawdah bint zam`ah as his wife after she offered to forfeit her day for `a'ishah. by keeping her among his wives, his ummah may follow this kind of settlement
የሶዳውን ሌሊት ከ'አኢሻ ጋር ለማሳለፍ የለመድኩትን ቀን ይስጥልኝ። ተመሳሳይ ትረካም ይሰበስባል
