በውስጧ ያለችውን ሰልሰቢል ተብላ የምትጠራውን ምንጭ ፡ ፡

and he asked him, what is thy name? and he answered, saying, my name is legion: for we are many.
ስምህ ማን ነው? ብሎ ጠየቀው። ብዙዎች ነንና ስሜ ሌጌዎን ነው አለው፥

' o zachariah , we give thee good tidings of a boy , whose name is john . no namesake have we given him aforetime . '
« ዘከሪያ ሆይ ! እኛ በወንድ ልጅ ስሙ የሕያ በኾነ ከዚህ በፊት ሞክሼን ባላደረግንለት እናበስርሃለን » ( አለው ) ፡ ፡

and he asked for a writing table, and wrote, saying, his name is john. and they marvelled all.
ብራናም ለምኖ። ስሙ ዮሐንስ ነው ብሎ ጻፈ። ሁሉም አደነቁ።

in houses allah has allowed to be raised and wherein his name is celebrated ; he is glorified therein , morning and evening ,
አላህ እንድትከበርና ስሙ በውስጧ እንዲወሳ ባዘዘው ቤቶች ውስጥ ( አወድሱት ) ፡ ፡ በውስጧ በጧትና በማታ ለእርሱ ያጠራሉ ፡ ፡

“ o zechariah , we give you good news of a son , whose name is john , a name we have never given before . ”
« ዘከሪያ ሆይ ! እኛ በወንድ ልጅ ስሙ የሕያ በኾነ ከዚህ በፊት ሞክሼን ባላደረግንለት እናበስርሃለን » ( አለው ) ፡ ፡

who were expelled from their habitations without right , except that they say ' our lord is god . ' had god not driven back the people , some by the means of others , there had been destroyed cloisters and churches , oratories and mosques , wherein god 's name is much mentioned .
ለእነዚያ « ጌታችን አላህ ነው » ከማለታቸው በስተቀር ያለ አግባብ ከአገራቸው የተባረሩ ለሆኑት ( ተፈቀደ ) ፡ ፡ አላህ ሰዎችን ከፊላቸውን በከፊሉ መገፍተሩ ባልነበረ ኖሮ ገዳማት ፣ ቤተክርስቲያኖችም ፣ ምኩራቦችም በውስጣቸው የአላህ ስም በብዛት የሚወሳባቸው መስጊዶችም ፤ በተፈረሱ ነበር ፡ ፡ አላህም ሃይማኖቱን የሚረዳውን ሰው በእርግጥ ይረዳዋል ፡ ፡ አላህ ብርቱ አሸናፊ ነውና ፡ ፡

and he said , “ board it – upon allah s name ’ is its movement and its stopping ; indeed my lord is surely oft forgiving , most merciful . ”
« መሄዷም መቆሟም በአላህ ስም ነው እያላችሁም በውስጧ ተሳፈሩ ፡ ፡ ጌታ መሓሪ አዛኝ ነውና » አላቸው ፡ ፡
