መቅደምንም ቀዳሚዎች በኾኑት ፤

then press forward as in a race ,

መቅደምንም ቀዳሚዎች በኾኑት ፤

and the foremost in the race , the foremost in the race :
( ለበጎ ሥራ ) ቀዳሚዎቹም ( ለገነት ) ቀዳሚዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡

these race for the good things , and they shall win them in the race .
እነዚያ በመልካም ሥራዎች ይጣደፋሉ ፡ ፡ እነሱም ለርሷ ቀዳሚዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡

and the jinn race , we had created before , from the fire of a scorching wind .
ጃንንም ( ከሰው ) በፊት ከእሳት ነበልባል ፈጠርነው ፡ ፡

to every community is a direction towards which it turns . therefore , race towards goodness .
ለሁሉም እርሱ ( በስግደት ፊቱን ) የሚያዞርባት አግጣጫ አለችው ፡ ፡ ወደ መልካም ሥራዎችም ተሽቀዳደሙ ፡ ፡ የትም ስፍራ ብትኾኑ አላህ እናንተን የተሰበሰባችሁ ኾናችሁ ያመጣችኋል ፡ ፡ አላህ በነገሩ ሁሉ ላይ ቻይ ነውና ፡ ፡

and race towards forgiveness from your lord , and a garden as wide as the heavens and the earth , prepared for the righteous .
ከጌታችሁ ወደ ኾነችም ምሕረትና ስፋትዋ እንደ ሰማያትና ምድር ወደ ኾነች ገነት አላህን ለሚፈሩ የተዘጋጀች ስትኾን ተቻኮሉ ፡ ፡

and a sign for them is that we bore their race ( through the flood ) in the loaded ark ;
እኛም ( የቀድሞ ) ትውልዳቸውን በተሞላች መርከብ ውስጥ የጫን መኾናችን ለእነርሱ ምልክት ነው ፡ ፡

believers , be patient , and race in patience , be steadfast , fear allah , in order that you will be victorious .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ታገሱ ተበራቱም ፡ ፡ ( በጦር ኬላ ላይ ) ተሰለፉም ፡ ፡ ትድኑም ዘንድ አላህን ፍሩ ፡ ፡
