« ኢብራሂም ሆይ ! በአማልክቶቻችን ይህንን የሠራህ አንተ ነህን » አሉት ፡ ፡

they said : " are you the one who has done this to our gods , o ibrahim ( abraham ) ? "
« ኢብራሂም ሆይ ! በአማልክቶቻችን ይህንን የሠራህ አንተ ነህን » አሉት ፡ ፡

are you the harder to create or the heaven ? he made it .
ባፈጣጠር እናንተ ይበልጥ የበረታችሁ ናችሁን ? ወይንስ ሰማይ ? ( አላህ ) ገነባት ፡ ፡

are you confident that the one in heaven will not cause the earth to collapse beneath you as it spins ?
በሰማይ ውስጥ ያለን ( ሰራዊት ) በእናንተ ምድርን ቢደረባባችሁ ወዲያውም እርሷ የምታረገርግ ብትኾን ትተማመናላችሁን ? ( አትፈሩምን ? )

or are you confident that the one in heaven will not unleash against you a violent storm ? then you will know what my warning is like .
ወይም በሰማይ ውስጥ ያለን በእናንተ ላይ ጠጠርን ያዘለች ነፋስን ቢልክባችሁ ትተማመናላችሁን ? ( አትፈሩምን ? ) ማስጠንቀቄም እንዴት እንደኾነ ወደፊት ታውቃላችሁ ፡ ፡

( are you saying this ) because you were asked to take heed ? the truth is that you are a people who have exceeded all bounds . ”
« ገደ ቢስነታችሁ ከእናንተው ጋር ነው ፡ ፡ ብትገሰጹ ( ትዝታላችሁን ? ) በእውነቱ እናንተ ወሰን አላፊዎች ሕዝቦች ናችሁ » አሏቸው ፡ ፡

the one who believed said : ' i fear for you the like of the day of the confederates my nation ,
ያም ያመነው ሰው አለ « እኔ በናንተ ላይ የአሕዛቦቹን ቀን ብጤ እፈራላችኋለሁ ፡ ፡

[ the one ] who has made for you the earth a bed and made for you upon it roads that you might be guided
( እርሱ ) ያ ምድርን ለእናንተ ምንጣፍ ያደረገላችሁ በርሷም ውስጥ ትምመሩ ዘንድ ለእናንተ መንገዶችን ያደረገላችሁ ነው ፡ ፡

( it will be said to the pious ) : " o ( you ) the one in ( complete ) rest and satisfaction !
( ለአመነች ነፍስም ) « አንቺ የረካሺው ነፍስ ሆይ !

" ( are the idols worthier or ) the one who answers the prayers of the distressed ones , removes their hardship , and makes you the successors in the land ? is there any lord besides god ?
ወይም ያ ችግረኛን በለመነው ጊዜ የሚቀበል ፣ መከራንም የሚያስወግድ ፣ በምድርም ላይ ምትኮች የሚያደረጋችሁ ፤ ( ይበልጣልን ወይስ የሚያጋሩት ) ከአላህ ጋር ሌላ አምላክ አለን ጥቂትንም አትገሠጹም ፡ ፡
