በአንፊጶልና በአጶሎንያም ካለፉ በኋላ ወደ ተሰሎንቄ መጡ፥ በዚያም የአይሁድ ምኵራብ ነበረ።

በቅጥሩም ባለ መስኮት በቅርጫት አወረዱኝና ከእጁ አመለጥሁ።

blessed was i on the day i was born , and blessed i shall be on the day i die and on the day i am raised to life again . "
« ሰላምም በእኔ ላይ ነው ፡ ፡ በተወለድሁ ቀን ፣ በምሞትበትም ቀን ፣ ሕያው ኾኜ በምቀሰቀስበትም ቀን ፡ ፡ »

jesus said unto them, verily,verily, i say unto you, before abraham was, i am.
ኢየሱስም። እውነት እውነት እላችኋለሁ፥ አብርሃም ሳይወለድ እኔ አለሁ አላቸው።

and we made mary 's son , and his mother , to be a sign , and gave them refuge upon a height , where was a hollow and a spring :
የመርየምን ልጅና እናቱንም ተዓምር አደረግናቸው ፡ ፡ የመደላደልና የምንጭ ባለቤት ወደ ኾነች ከፍተኛ ስፍራም አስጠጋናቸው ፡ ፡

thrice was i beaten with rods, once was i stoned, thrice i suffered shipwreck, a night and a day i have been in the deep;
ሦስት ጊዜ በበትር ተመታሁ፤ አንድ ጊዜ በድንጋይ ተወገርሁ፤ መርከቤ ሦስት ጊዜ ተሰበረ፤ ሌሊትና ቀን በባሕር ውስጥ ኖርሁ።

i made them not present at the creation of the heavens and the earth nor at the creation of themselves ; nor was i one to take the seducers as supporters ;
የሰማያትንና የምድርን አፈጣጠር አላሳየኋቸውም ፡ ፡ የነፍሶቻቸውንም አፈጣጠር ( እንደዚሁ ) ፡ ፡ አሳሳቾችንም ረዳቶች አድርጌ የምይዝ አይደለሁም ፡ ፡

forasmuch then as god gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the lord jesus christ; what was i, that i could withstand god?
እንግዲህ እግዚአብሔር በጌታ በኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ላመነው ለእኛ ደግሞ እንደ ሰጠን ያን ስጦታ ለእነርሱ ከሰጠ፥ እግዚአብሔርን ለመከልከል እችል ዘንድ እኔ ማን ነበርሁ?

the governor ’ s wife then said , “ now the truth is out . it was i who tried to seduce him , and he is telling the truth . ”
( ንጉሡም ) ፡ - « ዩሱፍን ከነፍሱ ባባበላችሁት ጊዜ ነገራችሁ ምንድን ነው » አላቸው ፡ ፡ « ለአላህ ጥራት ይገባው ፡ ፡ በእርሱ ላይ ምንም መጥፎን ነገር አላወቅንም » አሉት ፡ ፡ የዐዚዝ ሚስት ፡ - « አሁን እውነቱ ተገለጸ ፡ ፡ እኔ ከነፍሱ አባበልኩት ፡ ፡ እርሱም ከእውነተኞቹ ነው » አለች ፡ ፡

and when she had given birth to the child , she said : " o lord , i have delivered but a girl . " -- but god knew better what she had delivered : a boy could not be as that girl was . " i have named her mary , " ( she said ) , " and i give her into your keeping .
በወለደቻትም ጊዜ ፡ - « ጌታዬ ሆይ ! እኔ ሴት ኾና ወለድኋት ፡ ፡ » አላህም የወለደችውን ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡ « ወንድም እንደ ሴት አይደለም ፡ ፡ እኔም መርየም ብዬ ስም አወጣሁላት ፡ ፡ እኔም እስዋንም ዝርያዋንም ከተረገመው ሰይጣን በአንተ እጠብቃቸዋለሁ » አለች ፡ ፡
