i am your lord . take off your shoes ; you are in the holy valley of tuwa .
« እኔ ጌታህ እኔ ነኝ መጫሚያዎችህንም አውልቅ ፡ ፡ አንተ በተቀደሰው ሸለቆ በጡዋ ነህና ፡ ፡

i am your lord . take off your shoes , for you are in towa , the sacred valley .
« እኔ ጌታህ እኔ ነኝ መጫሚያዎችህንም አውልቅ ፡ ፡ አንተ በተቀደሰው ሸለቆ በጡዋ ነህና ፡ ፡

i am your lord ! so take off your shoes , you are in the sacred valley , tuwa .
« እኔ ጌታህ እኔ ነኝ መጫሚያዎችህንም አውልቅ ፡ ፡ አንተ በተቀደሰው ሸለቆ በጡዋ ነህና ፡ ፡

he said : the knowledge is only with allah , and i deliver to you the message with which i am sent , but i see you are a people who are ignorant .
« ዕውቀቱ አላህ ዘንድ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ያን በእርሱ የተላክሁበትንም አደርስላችኋለሁ ፡ ፡ ግን እኔ የምትሳሳቱ ሕዝቦች ኾናችሁ አያችኋለሁ » አላቸው ፡ ፡

they have charged me [ with a crime ] for which i am afraid they will kill me . "
« ለእነርሱም በእኔ ላይ ( የደም ) ወንጀል አልለ ፡ ፡ ስለዚህ እንዳይገድሉኝ እፈራለሁ ፡ ፡ »

and if they disobey you , then say , " indeed , i am disassociated from what you are doing . "
« እንቢ » ቢሉህም « እኔ ከምትሠሩት ንጹሕ ነኝ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

and i am not about to dismiss those who believed ; they will surely meet their lord . and i see that you are ignorant people . ”
« ሕዝቦቼም ሆይ ! በርሱ ( በተላክሁበት ማድረስ ) ላይ ገንዘብን አልጠይቃችሁም ፡ ፡ ምንዳዬ በአላህ ላይ እንጂ በሌላ ላይ አይደለም ፡ ፡ እኔም እነዚያን ያመኑትን አባራሪ አይደለሁም ፡ ፡ እነርሱ ጌታቸውን የሚገናኙ ናቸውና ፡ ፡ ግን እኔም የምትሳሳቱ ሕዝቦች ሆናችሁ አያችኋለሁ ፡ ፡ »

" o moses , i am verily your lord , so take off your shoes , for you are in the holy plain of towa .
« እኔ ጌታህ እኔ ነኝ መጫሚያዎችህንም አውልቅ ፡ ፡ አንተ በተቀደሰው ሸለቆ በጡዋ ነህና ፡ ፡

he said : " i am afraid of sending him with you lest a wolf should devour him when you are unmindful . "
« እኔ እርሱን ( ዩሱፍን ) ይዛችሁ መሌዳችሁ በእርግጥ ያሳዝነኛል ፡ ፡ እናንተም ከእርሱ ዘንጊዎች ስትሆኑ ተኩላ ይበላዋል ብዬ እፈራለሁ » አላቸው ፡ ፡

depart with your family in a part of the night and walk behind them and let none of you turn round . go to a place where you are commanded '
ከቤተሰብህም ጋር በሌሊቱ ከፊል ኺድ ፡ ፡ ከኋላቸውም ተከተል ፡ ፡ ከእናንተም አንድም ሰው ወደ ኋላው አይገላመጥ ፡ ፡ ወደ ታዘዛችሁበትም ስፍራ እለፉ » ( አሉት ) ፡ ፡

' allah alone has the knowledge ' he said , ' i am sent to deliver to you the message . but i can see that you are ignorant people '
« ዕውቀቱ አላህ ዘንድ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ያን በእርሱ የተላክሁበትንም አደርስላችኋለሁ ፡ ፡ ግን እኔ የምትሳሳቱ ሕዝቦች ኾናችሁ አያችኋለሁ » አላቸው ፡ ፡

people , you are one nation and i am your lord . worship me .
ይህች ( ሕግጋት ) አንዲት መንገድ ስትሆን በእርግጥ ሃይማኖታችሁ ናት ፡ ፡ እኔም ጌታችሁ ነኝና ተገዙኝ ፡ ፡

" that which is left by allah for you ( after giving the rights of the people ) is better for you , if you are believers . and i am not set over you as a guardian .
አላህ ያስቀረላችሁ ለእናንተ የተሻለ ነው ፡ ፡ ምእመናን እንደሆናችሁ ( አላህ በሰጣችሁ ውደዱ ) ፡ ፡ እኔም ( መካሪ እንጅ ) በናንተ ላይ ተጠባባቂ አይደለሁም ፡ ፡ »

and o my people , work according to your position ; indeed , i am working . you are going to know to whom will come a punishment that will disgrace him and who is a liar .
« ሕዝቦቼም ሆይ ! በችሎታችሁ ልክ ሥሩ ፡ ፡ እኔ ሠሪ ነኝና ፡ ፡ የሚያዋርደው ቅጣት የሚመጣበትና እርሱ ውሸታም የሆነው ማን እንደኾነ ወደ ፊት ታውቃላችሁ ፡ ፡ ጠብቁም እኔ ከናንተ ጋር ተጠባባቂ ነኝና » ( አላቸው ) ፡ ፡

and so he had fruit in abundance . while conversing with his companion , he said , " i am wealthier than you are , and have a bigger following ! "
ለእርሱም ( ከአትክልቶቹ ሌላ ፍሬያማ ) ሀብት ነበረው ፡ ፡ ለጓደኛውም ( ለአማኙ ) እርሱ የሚወዳደረው ሲኾን « እኔ ካንተ በገንዘብ ይበልጥ የበዛሁ በወገንም ይበልጥ የበረታሁ ነኝ » አለው ፡ ፡

and if they call you a liar , say : my work is for me and your work for you ; you are clear of what i do and i am clear of what you do .
« ቢያስተባብሉህም ለእኔ ሥራዬ አለኝ ፡ ፡ ለእናንተም ሠራችሁ አላችሁ ፡ ፡ እናንተ ከምሠራው ነገር ንጹሕ ናችሁ ፡ ፡ እኔም ከምትሠሩት ነገር ንጹሕ ነኝ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

do they say that he himself has forged this message ? tell them : ' if i have forged this , the guilt of it will fall upon me , but i am not responsible for the crimes you are committing .
« ይልቁንም ቀጠፈው ይላሉን ብቀጥፈው ኃጢኣቴ ( ቅጣቱ ) በኔ ላይ ነው ፡ ፡ እኔም ከምታጠፉት ( ጥፋት ) ንጹሕ ነኝ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

if they belie you , say : ' i have my work , you have your work . you are quit of what i do , and i am quit of what you do '
« ቢያስተባብሉህም ለእኔ ሥራዬ አለኝ ፡ ፡ ለእናንተም ሠራችሁ አላችሁ ፡ ፡ እናንተ ከምሠራው ነገር ንጹሕ ናችሁ ፡ ፡ እኔም ከምትሠሩት ነገር ንጹሕ ነኝ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

if they deny you , say , ‘ my deeds belong to me and your deeds belong to you : you are absolved of what i do and i am absolved of what you do . ’
« ቢያስተባብሉህም ለእኔ ሥራዬ አለኝ ፡ ፡ ለእናንተም ሠራችሁ አላችሁ ፡ ፡ እናንተ ከምሠራው ነገር ንጹሕ ናችሁ ፡ ፡ እኔም ከምትሠሩት ነገር ንጹሕ ነኝ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

if they accuse you of lying , say , “ i have my deeds , and you have your deeds . you are quit of what i do , and i am quit of what you do . ”
« ቢያስተባብሉህም ለእኔ ሥራዬ አለኝ ፡ ፡ ለእናንተም ሠራችሁ አላችሁ ፡ ፡ እናንተ ከምሠራው ነገር ንጹሕ ናችሁ ፡ ፡ እኔም ከምትሠሩት ነገር ንጹሕ ነኝ » በላቸው ፡ ፡
