sai ta yi ishãra zuwa gare shi, suka ce: "yãya zã mu yi magana da wanda ya kasance a cikin shimfiar tsumma yanã jãrĩri?"

allah knows indeed those among you who hinder others and those who say to their brethren: come to us; and they come not to the fight but a little,
lalle allah ya san mãsu hana mutãne fita daga cikinku, da mãsu cẽwa ga 'yan'uwansu,"ku zo nan a wurinmu." kuma bã zã su shiga yãƙi ba fãce kaɗan.

the hypocrites seek to trick god, but god is tricking them. when they stand up to pray they stand up lazily, showing off to the people and not remembering god save a little;
lalle ne munãfukai sunã yaudarẽwa da allah, alhãli kuwa shi ne mai yaudarasu; kuma idan sun tãshi zuwa ga salla, sai su tãshi sunã mãsu kasãla. suna nũnawa mutãne, kuma ba su ambatar allah sai kaɗan.

allah knows those of you who hinder, and those who say to their brothers: 'come to us' and they do not come to the battle but a little,
lalle allah ya san mãsu hana mutãne fita daga cikinku, da mãsu cẽwa ga 'yan'uwansu,"ku zo nan a wurinmu." kuma bã zã su shiga yãƙi ba fãce kaɗan.

and (remember) when your lord said to moosa, “go to the unjust people.”
kuma a lõkacin da ubangijinka ya kirãyi mũsã, "ka je wa mutãnen nan azzãlumai.

allah already knoweth those of you who hinder, and those who say unto their brethren: "come ye hither unto us!" and they come not to the stress of battle save a little,
lalle allah ya san mãsu hana mutãne fita daga cikinku, da mãsu cẽwa ga 'yan'uwansu,"ku zo nan a wurinmu." kuma bã zã su shiga yãƙi ba fãce kaɗan.

then we told them: "go to the people who have rejected our signs." then we annihilated them completely.
sai muka ce: "ku tafi, kũ biyu, zuwa ga mutãnen nan waɗanda suka ƙaryata game da ãyõ yinmu." sai muka darkãke su, darkãkewa.

adorn yourself when you go to the mosque, and eat and drink, and do not cross limits; indeed he does not like the transgressors.
ku riƙi ƙawarku a wurin kõwane masallãci kuma ku ci, kuma ku sha; kuma kada ku yi ɓarna. lalle ne shĩ (allah), bã ya son mãsu ɓarna.

(then) we said: 'go to the nation who have belied our signs' and we utterly destroyed them.
sai muka ce: "ku tafi, kũ biyu, zuwa ga mutãnen nan waɗanda suka ƙaryata game da ãyõ yinmu." sai muka darkãke su, darkãkewa.
