and they come not unto thee with a similitude but we bring thee the truth and an excellent interpretation.
kuma bã zã su zo maka da wani misãli ba, fãce mun je maka da gaskiya da mafi kyau ga fassara.

strike for them a similitude -- the inhabitants of the city, when the envoys came to it;
kuma ka buga musu misãli: waɗansu ma'abũta alƙarya, a lõkacin da manzanni suka jẽ mata.

and propound thou unto them the similitude of the inhabitants of a town, when there came thereto the sent ones;
kuma ka buga musu misãli: waɗansu ma'abũta alƙarya, a lõkacin da manzanni suka jẽ mata.

and indeed we have put forth for men, in this quran every kind of similitude in order that they may remember.
kuma lalle ne haƙĩƙa mun buga wa mutãne a, cikin wannan alƙur'ãni, daga kõwane misãli, ɗammãninsu su yi tunãni.

and certainly we have explained for men in this quran every kind of similitude, but most men do not consent to aught but denying.
kuma lalle ne, haƙĩƙa, mun caccanza dõmin mutãne, a cikin wannan alƙur'ãni, daga kõwane misãli sai mafi yawan mutãne suka ƙi (kõme) fãce kãfirci,

coin for them a similitude: the people of the city when those sent (from allah) came unto them;
kuma ka buga musu misãli: waɗansu ma'abũta alƙarya, a lõkacin da manzanni suka jẽ mata.

a similitude of those who disbelieve in their lord: their works are as ashes which the wind bloweth hard upon a stormy day.
misãlin waɗanda suka kãfirta da ubangijinsu, ayyukansu sun yi kama da tõka wadda iska ta yi tsananin bugãwa da ita a cikin yini mai gũguwa.

allah propoundeth a similitude: man having several partners,"quarelling, and a man wholly belonging to one man.
allah yã buga misãli; wani mutum (bãwa) a cikinsa akwai mãsu tarayya, mãsu mũgun hãlin jãyayya, da wani mutum (bãwa) dukansa ga wani mutum.

allah propoundeth for those who disbelieve the similitude of the wife of nuh and the wife of lut. they were under two of our righteous bondmen; then they defrauded them.
allah ya buga wani misãli dõmin waɗanda suka kãfirta: mãtar nũhu da mãtar lũɗu, sun kasance a ƙarƙashin wasu bãyi biyu daga bãyinmu sãlihai, saisuka yaudare su, sabõda haka ba su wadãtar musu da kõme daga allah ba.

allah coineth a similitude: a man in relation to whom are several part-owners, quarrelling, and a man belonging wholly to one man.
allah yã buga misãli; wani mutum (bãwa) a cikinsa akwai mãsu tarayya, mãsu mũgun hãlin jãyayya, da wani mutum (bãwa) dukansa ga wani mutum.

hast thou not seen how god has struck a similitude? a good word is as a good tree -- its roots are firm, and its branches are in heaven;
shin, ba ka ganĩ ba, yadda allah ya buga wani mĩsali, kalma mai kyau kamar itãciya ce mai kyau, asalinta yanã tabbatacce, kuma rẽshenta yanã cikin sama?

coin for them a similitude: two men, unto one of whom we had assigned two gardens of grapes, and we had surrounded both with date-palms and had put between them tillage.
kuma ka buga musu misãli da waɗansu maza biyu. mun sanya wa ɗayansu gõnaki biyu na inabõbi, kuma muka kẽwayesu da itãcen dabĩnai, kuma muka sanya shũka a tsakãninsu (sũ gõnakin).
